Are there any fighters in history you think could beat a prime Roy Jones?

Reggie Johnson couldn't cut it at 160 yet was a champion, top 3 fighter at 175.

RJJ whilst a great fighter favoured from a lack of talent at 175.

If Roy had been European how do you think his career would of panned out?

I wouldn't say that he couldn't cut it.

He beat Collins, had close fights with Castro, and he gave Toney a great fight, arguably beating him.

    That's a great question.

I think it would have depended on who promoted him and how ambitious he'd have been.

He would had to have gone to the U.S. to get the best possible fights for himself.

I agree he'd have had to gone to the US had he not wanted the criticism that has been soon often flung at many of the best fighters Europe had during his era who never made the move stateside but with his mentality do you think he necessarily would of?

If he thought he'd established himself in Europe as the best do you think he'd have done enough to chase down American stars and been willing to be the b side of the promotion/split? Would he have got fights made with Joe, Sven and Dariuz? Or before that Nigel, Chris and Steve?

Considering his chin was pure glass, yes.

I dont think roy had a glass chin.. He was just a small man , smaller than mayweather but still went up a lot of weight to fight bigger dudes.. If a small man goes up in weight his chin will still be that of a small man . Roy should have stayed at his natural weight and just fought there at 160 lbs or whatever it was.
Also stop accusing roy jones jr of steroids. Everyone uses juice. Just accusing him everytime his name is brought up makes it seem like nobody else does it . Mayweather does it. Tyson did it , muhammed ali did it.. everyone.
also what I noticed is You see a lot of big dudes go down in weight to fight smaller people because they cant handle the fighters in their natural weight.

But my point is that he went from being a good fighter, arguably top 6 or near abouts at 160 to jump 2 divisions and be a top 3 guy.

No, the fact is Jones was 3 years older and not 8 as claimed.

This post is actually a perfect snap shot of your gimmick "Push Agenda as Fact while defecating on Real Facts ." And you wander why you are a joke.

    This is a mess.

There is no argument for Reggie being on a similiar level to Tarver. My argument us simple: Tarver not only beat Reggie but picked up far more superior wins. He beat everybody and was The Man in the division. Reggie upset a prospect...

Yeah, Tarver had some bad nights he avenged. So what? He trumps Reggie by a landslide of achievements at Light Heavy.

This is like trying to argue Edwin Viruet and Duran were at a similiar level at Light Weight.

I know what your argument is.

    It's my opinion.

Of similar ability means that there's not much between them.

Yes, Tarver proved that he was a better LHW, but I don't think that he was another level to Reggie. If he was, he would never have lost to Glen Johnson.

I don't know how you've got the nerve to write that to Herol, considering some of the things you've said to me over the past year.

160, maybe Hagler, Leonard or Hearns. At 168, Maybe Ward. At 175, maybe Moorer.. All posiblities but at the end of the day Roy Jones in his prime was so gifted i would be hard pressed to favor any of those guys over him other than Hagler, Leonard or Hearns at MW.

A close loss to Glen Johnson that was promptly avenged doesnt undo Tarvers landslide advantage of achievements.

To go the analogy pool again, thats like saying Lewis'loss to Rahman knocks him down to the level of David Tua.

Okay, provide a real example of me doing what he did. I dont push agenda as fact, I let facts tell the story.

I will wait for your example.
