I've been watching boxing for over 20 years and am still picking up new techniques and strategies when I watch fights. So OP give me another couple of decades and I might be able to scratch the surface of the complexity of the sport of boxing. Christ I can think of about a dozen different ways you can throw a jab alone.
Elbow, low blow, headbutt, low blow and the defencive tactic of grabbing your opponent behind the kness and pulling them to the ground = victory. If your in Oakland ofcourse.
Basic jab Flick jab Jab from the hip Feinted jab Double jab Body jab Cork screw jab Pivot jab, pivot foot to generate torque and more power in jab Step in jab Push off jab, where you push off from rear foot Extended jab when you leave arm extended to control range Blinding jab where you keep arm out for a bit longer to block opponents view so you catch them with a follow up shot they don't see coming That's a dozen ways you can throw or use a jab. There are probably more ways and techniques I'm not even aware of.
