This content is protected I like this fight Sulecki is 6ft1 and decent build, probably should have never gone to 154. I know he didn't do that great against Culcay but Culcay is a good experienced fighter who also made Andrade look bad. Sulecki gave Centeno Jr a hell of a whooping and I'm a fan of Centeno. I think this is a tough fight for Jacobs, a definite step up from Arias, Spike and Andy Lee.
Decent scrap, not sure who wins this actually, I'll have to think about it. I lean Danny for now, but like you, I don't think moving to 154 was a good idea, and styles makes fights, Culcay's style, not a great fit, Danny's a little better.
Wait, isn't Martirosyan supposed to be fighting Sulęcki? That was on as of the other day, I thought? What happened there?
At first i thought this was a shits and giggles who wins if they fight thread ,but now that i see that it may happen, i'm kinda excited for this fight.
Same, although it sucks to see another opportunity slip through Martirosyan's fingers. If he doesn't land a big fight soon he's likely going to just quietly fade into Bolivian...
imo the matchmaking is a joke this is the guy that alot of people said not me was robbed against golovkin so if his that good he sure isn't proving it and is getting far to much credit for going the distance and winning some rounds
Sulecki is a very good fighter he just isn't well known or promoted. This is a tough fight or at least it should be. I don't think Jacobs wins this easy at all, let's see if he proves me wrong. I don't consider this a case of hiding from real threats. To me it's the opposite its a tough fight for little reward. If he did destroy Sulecki I bet he doesn't get the respect it would deserve.
What exactly would you like Jacobs to be doing right now? Golovkin and Canelo are rematching, so in the meantime Danny should what, sit with his thumb up his ass?
Fight a better name then this I would much rather see him fight someone like korobov I know his at super middle but just not guy who's been fighting at light middle would be great
I mean, sure, he fought last year at junior middle a few times, but literally his entire career before that, for seven years, he fought at either middle or super middle. He's 6'1", taller not only than Jacobs himself but than every opponent Jacobs has fought since Jose Varela in 2009. This isn't some little guy moving up. As for the 'better name' part, well, check his record again. Just because he's off your radar doesn't mean he doesn't have some nice wins. Knockouts of Findley, Centeno and Proksa - that ain't bad. Coming off a good win over Culcay in a WBC semifinal eliminator. Jacobs is a leap up in class for him, yes, but not a cosmic one; he isn't some obscure scrub from outta left field.
