Carl Froch vs Badou Jack @ 168 would have been insanely competitive, Jack with a slight edge

Jack's fine, but Froch beats seven shades out of him.

It might be competitive at the start but Jack can't hurt Froch. Froch would take him out within 8 rounds.

 

Jack would be a handful for Froch I think. Although Jack wouldn't have been able to bully him around. I think Jack could spoil for a points win though. Froch, super tough, heavy puncher.. but he was never the most skill-full fighter. If Jack could play it like Ward he could outscore him.

Jack's a well rounded fighter who is not particularly great in any one area. Froch had exceptional physical strength and power, a granite chin, and an underrated ability to box behind his jab. He had the gritty mentality of a true champion.

Froch would throttle Jack worse than Stevenson is likely to do. The brutal fighter in Froch would surely crack the chin of the fighter who was once KO'd in the first round by a journeyman. It's actually silly to even compare their levels at this point.

 

You forgot to mention how many seconds this would have been competitive?

 

Bad Jack is one tough motha, but Froch simply outmans him in his strong departments.

if Bad goes to war, and he might have no choice, he might even floor Froch, but hes not winning the war.

 

Would MVC even be aware of Badou Jack if he wasn't so heavily linked to ths object of all hia affections?

The Cobra at his best is quite the package to contend with. He might have too much for Jack to negotiate. I like Froch by decision in a potential classic..

 

Badou Jack has gone from underrated to lately overrated. I think just Froch was the better fighter, and would have beaten Jack up.
