Disappointing that Yarde is still fighting irrelevant and Dubois DL Clarke. However it’s at a much more suited venue and it will do well for frank and the fighters selling out York Hall.

Degale and Selby world championship double header couldn’t sell out the copperbox, Tete and Skeete had no chance.

Yarde headlining York Hall has no arguments from me.

This is a glorified next gen show - which is exactly what Yarde and Dubois should be on at present.

I’m ok with Yarde and Dubois opponents especially as both are due out again only about 6 weeks later for the April 02 card.

It’s that card where I will be expecting a reasonable step up for both factoring in their inexperience etc For Dubois maybe a Gary Cornish type would be ok.

For Yarde assuming he goes down the WBO route and not British there’s the likes of Murat, Boesel, capellero all those types of guys would be acceptable.

 

We know to be extra suspicious if these very low KO opponents, carries on for much longer.

After all, Amur khan proved that when your prospect keeps on facing feather fisted opponents and avoiding others with a bigger punching, its because GLASS is being hidden.
