i was thinking he might acknowledge that, though it would give weight to using PEDs, something he wouldnt want to endorse publically at the very least.

 

Roy jones is definitely one of the greatest of all times. Man is a certified legend no doubt.

 

Roy definitely didn't do his track record much good by fighting on for so long and incurring such horrific losses to lower-tier opponents while he was way past his prime. It definitely taints his entire legacy, just in my personal opinion.

He should have retired after the Hopkins/Calzaghe fights which netted him many millions. But he obviously wasted his cash, made lots of bad investments and ran up huge tax debt so he had to keep on fighting. He will end up with dementia pugilistica. Very sad case.

 

naa he shoudda retired after Tarver and JOhnson, the signs that his reactions were shot were obvious there.

if we are being honest a lot of these bouts, when he didnt get koed, have been exhibitions. There are times when hes laughing inthe ring on his bum tour.

 

I thought he had the talent to be the GOAT when he started and for a while it looked like he was on his way, but it never really turned out for him in my opinion and he never had that perfect foil help him get there. And a GOAT doesn't finish his career like Roy, so no, he is not the GOAT

 

How can he be the GOAT when this guy's the GOAT?
