2015: Andre Ward vs GGG in 168?

After seeing Ward comprehensively outboxed by a somewhat in-shape Kovalev in the first fight... i see no way that this guy can box with GGG.

 

At 168 you simply have to go with Ward. GGG is totally untested at 168 and Ward was one of the very best. All the same, I think those picking Ward KO's or shutouts are equally mistaken. Ward points for sure but it's a competitive fight

Golovkin isn't even particularly big at MW. He'd be tiny at SMW.

 

This is the reasonable, objective conclusion the vast majority of us probably reaches.

 

Ward is a horrible match up for GGG. There's a reason why GGG his team nor his fans wanted anything to do with Ward.

 

As a Golovkin fan I certainly wanted the fight.

I just didn't throw a childish tantrum and understood the reasons for it not happening when it was originally proposed.
