was he one of the most exciting aggresive boxers in his prime?

Already top 5 southpaws ever. Some people even say #1.

So, yes, him going down among the best ever is unavoidable. Where exactly he will place in that hallowed company will be a matter of contention for long beyond any of us shuffling off this mortal coil, I'm sure.

Strange questions! Top 20 of all times, second best of his era, and obviously one of the greatest entertainers ever.

Pre Oscar. Loved him. Hype train era. Hated him due to bang wagon fans. He will go down as a great but in reality he was a PED abuser and got passes for blatant cherry picking. The guys ring IQ isn’t even as high as Jeff Horn’s and quite frankly he has no proof that he’s even greater than JMM who has the only definitive victory out of their entire saga. Too many inconsistencies throughout his career that don’t make sense.

Margarito didn’t age him as people say. He went from 1000 a fight power puncher to 400 punch getting tired overnight. Smoke and mirrors and people hating Floyd made him what he is.

How many fights he has left? I hope we can see him 2-3 more times.
Top 20 of all time, but he couldn't beat Marquez and probably even in 2010-12 Floyd would outboxed him.

He's an all time great legend, no question.

I personally feel everything he did from 2010-present is among the most overrated time period of achievement probably ever. But everything before WW, what is there to hate on? He's the second best fighter of his entire "era."

Probably a top 30 p4p, best boxer of his era, and undoubtedly one of the most exciting fighters ever.

Great fighter but I will never forget when he ducked Raheem and instead went agianst the beaten shot Morales! Or when he turn down the biggest fight in boxing beacuse he was"afraid" of needless? How about when he tried to cherry pick Marquez right after Mayweather shut him down and it came back to bite Pacquiao in the a$$ lol

He was the first athlete in the history of professional sporting to pay his own money to give additional drug testing to himself. I wouldn't say he cleaned up the whole sport, though, that's quite extreme. A little tough to do that. Although immediately after, you started to see it become an issue that is now in many of the bigger fights' contracts and certainly he changed the opinion of the majority of fans who were previously ignorant and naive to drug usage in sports... Just read the IBF is debating having an additional random drug testing policy, good news if true.

Pacquiao is definitely a great and a HOFer. Probably the greatest featherweight ever. The moving up division thing was more of a promotional scheme because he picked guys he looked good against until Marquez gave him more than he could handle.
Could have been undisputed at 126, but he got that money and I can't knock the hustle even if Arum scammed him, like Don King said about Ali and Tyson, " I loved that they let me make them rich enough so I could rob them, because they were poor when they came to me."

No matter what he got rich *****!!

Promotional scheme involving killers like Morales, Barrera, Marquez (2X), Roidquez (2X), Hatton, Cotto, Bradley (3X), and extremely tough outs against the likes of Margarito, Clottey, Mosley, Vargas, and Horn all while being undersized?
