Pacquiao after winning the Featherweight Title over one of the highest regarded lower weight class fighters in history immediately gave JMM an opportunity. And I mean immediately in a literal sense. His first defense was a voluntary opportunity for ultra high risk/low reward fighter in JMM.

On this forum we call out cowardly ducks and shrewd opposition avoidance. Well Pacquiao would have none of it. His first defense as a superstar was against a 30 year old ATG fighter who nobody knew of.

Pac is already a world level HOF class act level fighter and entertainer.. No question will go down in history books.. Only bad thing about him is his riodiculously incoherent nuthugging fans who think he is God himself or that everytime he loses its cause someone cheated.. With the exception of horn and Bradley ones which were controversial.

 

Kind of a side note but i wish we never had a Floyd vs Manny rivalry.
In the end it was just a huge cluster****. We lost more than we gained.

Do you have proof ? Im just saying if you have it please share it. And if you have it and you've share it in the past I mustve missed it. Cause if those were controversial then so was Pac Man being afraid of needles and Ariza... Is there proof Memo gave PED's to JMM for the fight? Did he pass the tests? Or with Mayweather whats the deal with the IV's?? Pac was doing just fine he just lost.. And Before getting KTFO into oblivion by Marquez he was actually on the verge of KOíng him on that fight.

 

I don't make rankings because it takes time but I'd say he's at worst top 20.

 

LOL, you're right. JMM was clean and Floyd was severely dehydrated hours after the weigh in. LOL! But that's not even the point. You asked which fights were controversial. Both the JMM and Floyd fights were tainted by likely PED use and therefore, highly controversial.

 

Hey have your go man.. I would expect nothing less from someone whos custom title is '' I Love You Manny Paquiao'' Hey man.. Im a fan.. But there is no need to use excuses.. Good post. Fact is Manny did some amazing things being such a small fighter but he was definitely guided and positioned well by Top Rank. However, only a special boxer could have done what PAC accomplished. Otherwise anyone would have done it years ago. I don’t see anyone breaking Pacquiao’s record of being a world champion in 8 different weight classes

 

Okay, you didn't ask, but you mentioned 2 fights that were just as controversial as JMM/Floyd.
