It is hard to say because so much of Evan Fields' legacy is tainted by HGH use.

Prime Evander would win the tournament, but lets not forget Gassiev is only 24 and far from prime..

I think Jirov and Toney from their cruiser fight would be more interesting. Holy is just too much imo.

We're definitely all judging Holyfield on his accomplishments at heavyweight though. The prob with cruiserweight during his era is there were no genuinely outstanding opponents at the let him forge the legacy he could of at 200lbs.

Oh yes. He could take anyone out prime that's in that tournament. He got that style where hes waiting for that moment to unleash a great blend of speed and power and with 12 rounds I cant see him not getting Usyk in desperate trouble at some stage. He was imo a great Cruiser, and very hard to beat.

Holyfield is an all time drug cheat great who fought at a time when anyone could use as much as he pleased (EPO, steroids, growth hormone etc.) Hard to know how he would do today.

People slate Holyfield as if he was the only fighter doping at that time. If he was, you can bet that so were the majority of others. Regardless of PEDs, he still trained harder and was mentally tougher than possibly anyone of his era. All on peds or all clean, believe it or not you still get the same winners in sport.

At 23 years of age he weighted 176 pounds.

At 26 years he weighted 190 pounds.

At 27 he weighted 210 pounds.

    Compare it with Tyson:

    19 years: 217 pounds.

    25 years: 216 pounds.

    29 years: 220 pounds.

You do the math... Holyfield was a cheater.

Is putting on bulk to compete against much bigger guys cheating?

Did 205 Vander have an unfair advantage over 235 Bowe?

Ped use is cheating. Bowe looked natural to me.
