Wilder has never faced anyone of note at 32. Hard to say how good/average he is.

Right on. Botha's spoiling style is likely to cause him fits. For almost 5 rounds he was getting the better of a still game 99' Tyson, beat Briggs for most's money, held his own against Moorer in being stopped late, beat a prime Schulz. Solid 90s-early 2000s contender. Would easily be the best win on Wilders resume.

    Larry Holmes

Wilder is a stylistic nightmare for him.

Are you taking about Larry Holmes NOW? Even then I still don't agree that Deonkey beats him.

I'd favor Wilder over any HW pre-Liston. And I'm a big big critic of Wilder but he'd easily outpoint and knock out the likes of Marciano/Patterson/Louis/Dempsey/Carnera/Schmeling etc.

A common answer on this thread and I can see why. Do we have to go that small though size wise?

My old man reckons Ken Norton would be too much for nearly any of the current crop but he was a kid in the 70s so prob remembers that set of fighters as fondly as I remember 90s ones shen I was a kid.
