    Any news on Jason Quigley?

I want to see Sean Turner back in action. Great guy to watch who can be an Irish-English mainstay for quite a while if he has the right fights.

Playing devils advocate one of the main issues in the press release is that Sandra vaughan bought out kinihan last year yet the press still bring him up whenever the cover Mtk issues.
I don't know the lady or her background but there are ways of dealing with these issues and throwing the toys out of the pram is not one of them

Only people it's going to affect is the boxers themselves which seems to be crazy as papers will still sell etc.

"Unfollowed" WTF is that? Anyway if you "followed" them in the first place then surely you have double standards? I mean at what point did you change your mind? Are you saying it wasnt a problem for you to support these boxers that are - you claim - tainted with drug money all along, and now suddenly it is...Hmmm?

Fair play to MTK. This rotten little banana republic stinks and always has. Hopefully the boxers will be ok. Its called MTK Global, right? - the clue is in the name....they should still be able to provide a living for the boxers elsewhere. Its a big world out there. I would advise the boxers - or any young person actually - to get out of this sh!thole of a country anyway...better off!

The final straw for me was all these embarrising arseholes putting up black crosses over there name like someone has been killed all because some bird with fake lips and wearing glasses too big for her face is acting like she's jihadi John . Couldn't make this **** up. Cringe worthy stuff.

Do you live in Dublin you moron ? Do you see what's happening in the streets on a weekly basis ? These people are ruining boxings good name in Ireland and turning people away from shows. Boxers defending them are worse. Should no better instead of turning the blind eye for a few quid of there drug money. Anyone who thinks Danny Vaughans wife is the real owner is ******ed and also ask yourself why is Kinahan on the run in hiding in the middle east if he's so innocent in all this ?

I'm gonna say probably more upside than Noely, too.

Murphy can pump out combo after combo without flagging, and he certainly has no quit in him, and he can take a shot - but workrate/heart/toughness alone won't get you there, and power isn't the only thing he's lacking. His offensive and defensive technique were both shown up as plenty sloppy last night (LesPierre simply couldn't miss with lead or counter left uppercuts from outside; and in turn Murphy could only consistently scratch him on the belly when it was his turn attacking, with LesPierre's very rudimentary brand of American slickness on D too impenetrable for him)

Conor from what I've seen is more thoughtful in his footwork & shot placement, and has nimbler balance on the go, and packs quite a bit more of a punch. Hard to pick against him if they fought.

What you say may be true for the likes of Carl frampton Paddy Barnes etc belfast fighters with a high profile or English lads but not some of the lesser known or lesser funded boxers that have to sell tickets to box ie 95% of them (like all of Pete taylors stable including our own Lukekiko) who will be impacted badly by not being allowed box in southern Ireland,

Yes, I know it is tough on Luke and others alright. But let's face it like hasn't got a massive following, even in Dublin...so he might as well go on the road....very bad luck his career coinciding with this MTK crap etc. But it is what it is as they say, and in life you have to play with the cards you're dealt.

It must be tough for Macklin too, given his great (misplaced!) affinity for this country.

I don't know anything about Dany Vaughan at all. I actually DID live in dolphins barn ....and worked in the heart of the liberties..in the era of the dunnes heroin empire, actually moorser (you probably weren't even born then) and saw it first hand up close and personal. We Irish had several chances to deal with drugs and ...typically for us Irish...we blew it.

Anyway, there's no such thing as clean money in this world. Corruption is the norm here. Even someone with a lovely "clean" job in a company like Apple is working for an organisation that owes this country something like €13billion in unpaid tax. That's thirteen billion. Imagine all the good that you could do in a small place like this with €13 billion!

You don't demand all Apple employees walk away from their cushy jobs...so why demand the much less well-off boxers, with far fewer options in their lives should do it? Especially since there is no proof it's drug money...just media talk.

I wish Matthew Macklin, MTK and their boxers all the best. Good luck to them I say.

Didn't realise Apple were causing murder and mayhem on Irish streets.

Sure Ted Bundy was innocent until he was caught what's your point.

Mtk were good for Irish boxing in short term but very bad in the long term.

Drugs is the biggest scurge in this country and having mtk involved in "legitimate boxing"is giving the sport a bad name ,everyone knows that Kinihan is still involved in it,might be under a different boss but the money is coming from the young kids whose lives are totally ****ed up from these drugs.
