Nah, just the opposite...if anything the overly talked about "Fantastic Four" are overrated as hell.

Would love to see Monzon's competition on a top 50 p4p list ... but I just can't find it .. Oh look the Fab 4 all in the top 50 p4p AND fighting each other ... doesn't even compare

leonard has talent but no wins over fresh competition at 160. they were all tired out and that's what makes all the difference. when he faced Norris, Terry was young and feisty and that's how upcoming contenders usually are. ESBers - not only do they not understand this, they havent got a clue. they just go by "most impressive wins" as their only criteria. then whenever he loses, they always resort to making excuses for him. let's not forget he had the edge in experience in that fight and didnt have problems boxing prior (Dec. 1989)

we can safely assume that Leonard poses more problems than Jean Claude Bouttier. at 5-10, Monzon's not that much bigger. add to the fact that he has Dundee, the famous cheater, looking for every edge he can get,, and should come up with some kind of strategy to make it close

but ,,, to me Leonard is still a big ???

A win over Micheal nunn would have made a believer out of me

as for Monzon, hagler with his southpaw ability and cleaner punching would certainly do it. Roy Jones with his lightning reflexes and quick as a flash combination punching, would also do it, Ray Robinson (the best of) but I'm not sure Leonard could. he's kind of overrated

Ray wasn’t able to outbox Hearns. He had to turn it into a slugfest, exposing Hearns’ weak chin. Monzon had a reach almost as long as Hearns’ so he would have to work to get inside, and then he’s not going to hurt Monzon the way he hurt Hearns. If Leonard turns it into a slugfest, he’s taking a big risk. Monzon can hurt him.

Monzon 2-1 in 3 fights with Hagler.

But barely. Best series of all time.
