Jean Pascal grew up idolozing RJJ and was eventually trained by him. Pascal didn't exactly have a short pro career, at over a dozen years. (just shy of a baker's dozen)

Pascal debuted in 2005, sixteen years after RJJ...and nine months after the last time Roy ever held a real world title (sorry, WBU).

The entire pro career of Jean Pascal was fought in the "milking it", post-world-title era of Jones'.

...and yet Roy's outlasted him. Pascal retired "not a moment too soon" according to some fans, and he still exited before Jones.

Wtf are you whining about? There's a difference between pointing out that somebody has just uploaded it to YouTube (which anyone could find out by simply entering "Roy Jones" into the search field in YT and clicking the first result) and posting/requesting an illegal live stream, you do realize that, right? Nobody is 'coming after' a forum on which a YouTube video is posted, they'll just lodge a comaint if they care to and have YT remove it themselves and then what's in my post will be just a dead link. The owners care about discussion of live streams of fights IN PROGRESS because that is what has potential litigious implications for them. Not ****ing YouTube videos of an old fight which everyone knows the outcome of already and which no longer has any market value for the copyright holder. Use your ****ing head.

That's first of all.

Second, I don't know the particulars of your being banned, I don't issue bans over the stream rule (just warn people about it in the RBR disclaimer, you're ****ing welcome) , that is the milieu of the admins and a couple of the other mods, I'm not really all that concerned with it tbh. You may or may not have been unfairly targeted for an innocent request, but that (or anything the otjer mods or the admins do) has nothing whatsoever to do with me. So whatever hypocrisy you think you're pointing out, as though the "staff" here were one big hive mind acting in unison on all things, you've failed.

 

Yeah but I'm only a mod in name only, really. I have the emeritus status as more of a recognition of service, to be able to edit my own threads without leaving the ugly "last edited by" trace or delete spammers in my threads, I'm not really here to be a hall monitor. I don't really do "mod stuff", and never really have. And I'm certainly not the one banning people for stream requests!! So why you coming at me as though I were personally representative of some kind of hypocrisy on the part of the board? (especially when, as I pointed out, it isn't even hypocrisy because the things you brought up are not apples to apples)
