Are there any fighters in history you think could beat a prime Roy Jones?

    belts, belts and more belts
again, it's your last line of defence when you need to defend fighters who under-achieved

you didn't read my detailed post
Calzaghe can chase the fight all he wants in 2003, he was high risk, low reward and so the fight didn't get made - just like a string of Europeans who were gunshy about getting international exposure by traveling to the US

the irony isn't lost on me that the person who can't rise above petty name calling is calling the other poster immature. if it hurts your feelings when people post alternate views to your own, what are you doing on the forum?

the defence rests regarding which poster is immature and which can rise above pettiness

Your post was garbage, you are ill informed, you don't have the sack to blame Hopkins fkr pulling out of a fight.

You are also a thin skinned cuck. Have a good weekend.

Hopkins definitely cost himself a fortune at that time. Jones still was doing much the same himself.

Quit bitchin. Calzaghe was great. But he was also a *****. And he ducked Chad Dawson. Who cares as only super British fanboys would think that Calzaghe troubles a prime Roy Jones.

Darius was rightfully stripped, the other bodies didnt allow unifications with a body they didnt recognise.

The belts shouldnt have been on the line the first place. He should not have possessed them.

He's one of my favourite posters along with yourself. But when the going gets tough, he disappears.

I didn't have an issue with Joe not fighting Chad, because he wanted to retire at that point. The issue, was how he spoke of him.

Instead of saying that he was ready to retire and that Chad was on his own path etc, he told the media that he didn't rate Chad, as he'd done nothing to warrant a fight with him, and that he didn't excite him. And that's exactly the same as what he said regarding Tarver and Pavlik. And people wonder why he gets criticised.
