Ortiz is more than capable of KOing Wilder.

Do you think this will be a considered a 'good win' for Wilder?

So you're predicting Ortiz unless Wilder wins right? Then you're predicting Wilder, unless of course Ortiz wins?
    Classic boxing master prediction.

I consider it a better than we are use to with him. Every said Wilder had no chance then they blamed him for Ortiz failing to fill out the correct paperwork like an adult. Now that the fight is happening again. All I’m hearing is Ortiz is old, the win means nothing.

I think some are just getting fed up with the guys who are claiming Joshua's win over Wlad is irrelevant because of Wlad's age yet a victory over Ortiz is impressive.

It's fair to assume ortiz is older than Wlad....and his career is certainly less impressive.

AJ's win against Wlad was a great win. If Wilder beats Ortiz, that will also be a great win. No two ways about it. This is a dangerous fight for Wilder, though. Saying that, I do think Wilder will stop him (round 6-8)

    ortiz is shot

    next sentence ortiz is dangerous

ortiz is shot but can still pull the trigger and see openings when wilder comes in and has enough left to catch wilder with a sharp counter ????????????????????????????????????

a shot fighter cant pull the trigger anymore/ has nothing left/ when his oppoent farts down he goes .

    see holyfield v toney

His best so far, but a detoxing 40+ fellow Bambi leg is still not GREAT.
But nothing short of solid due to the danger of a single timed left hand could just as easily see him impersonating liakovich

but i do agree about the ortiz straight left counter part of it.

wilder has to keep it long with his left hand / if he throws a right from distance he must follow completly with his feet and then grab if he misses. ala pulev.

if wilder throws long right hands from distance and falls short then he is going to get straight down the pipe, shots ountering him while he is in poor position .

not had to worry about this v his opposition before in this fight he needs to iron this out in sparring before getting in with ortiz.

ortiz looks to feint /catch jabs on his right hand and counter down the pipe with the straight left.

wilder has never been a good inside fighter / ortiz is / i have said it many times this is a 55/45 fight in which i have ortiz as favourite

It could definitely happen. We've all seen Wilder throw crazy right hands from a distance which fall woefully short. Usually his opponent is too far away to make him pay due to Wilder's height and reach, but Ortiz is a good counter puncher with a good reach himself and will definitely be looking for that shot.

As Sean said Ortiz uses his right hand to parry jabs which could make Wilder struggle to land his jab, forcing him to reach in with that right hand. Ortiz definitely has the tools to win, but question is can he pull it off and does he have what it takes anymore, he looked slower than ever in his last fight and Wilder is a dangerous puncher himself.

I still think Wilder can pull it off but this is a damn close fight on paper, definitely a pick'em fight.

Yep, like on cue. Was the most feared man in the division, signed a Wilder fight and got old overnight.

Truth is Ortiz always sucked, people got absurd for a while electing anything with a heart beat as a Wilder killer and rather than admit Ortiz was never very good now they'll claim he's changed.

Y'all explain to me why Ortiz has never faced a single opponent who can carry power into late rounds? Probably because of the obvious flaws in his game that have always been there.

He got old then stopped being protected from late power? Nope, he was always vulnerable as **** to a fighter like Wilder.
