No, Dumanov was just the better man. To much movement and speed for Mikhaylenko.

    Round 1 Rakhimov 10-9
    Round 2 Rakhimov 10-8
    Round 3 Rakhimov 10-9
    Round 4 Rakhimov 10-9
    Round 5 Rakhimov 10-9
    Round 6 Klassen 10-9
    Round 7 Rakhimov 10-9
Round 8 Rakhimov wins by KO

Excellent comprehensive performance from Shavkat, great relentless workrate, good combinations, good body work, defense okay, but took a few too many clean shots, but Klassen is no pushover and he beat him far more impressively than Alexeev, and he was the first man to stop Malcolm, who's as tough as old shoe leather. That was an impressive showing, I've been meaning to for a while anyway, but he get a thread from me real soon.:deal:

Well, you aren't known for your accurate scorecards Hamburg, but since I don't really feel like watching it, I'll take your word for it.;)

Not quite yet, he needs to shore up his defense a little more, he ate too many right hooks, and a few body shots, but he's definitely knocking on the door of being a legit contender.

I was not sure what to make of the defensive issues. If Willie Pep fought today some of these clowns would claim he has bad defense. in many instances "bad defense" is just a code word but in Rakhimov's case there some actual evidence of this.

No doubt, if a guy with real power landed some of the shots Klassen landed on him, he'd be in trouble. In fact I think he was hurt by a counter right hook at the end of the second when he was going in for the kill, it was right at the bell, but he hid it well.
