After all these years Hunt still has the take down defence of a carrot

 

Close between Toney and Hunt for TD defence.

 

I don't think Blaydes is the future like the UFC hope he will be. Average abilities apart from his wrestling, low ring IQ.

 

The guy is a hell of an entertainer and I always root for him but Hunt's lack of ground game and stamina will keep him from being great in the UFC.

 

Blaydes has a bad set of whiskers.

 

He has a so many holes in his offense and defense.

 

You question Romero's integrity....How'd that drug test go for Lesnar?

 

I don't think Hunt would have gotten taken down with that extra slow, low single. Randy wouldn't have got that **** on me. Who the hell gets taken down by a low single?

 

I was joking...Really don't see how this relates back to Romero.

 

Hunts TD defence may not have been great in this fight but overall it has been pretty good actually and its something he improved on from when he 1st started MMA and helped turned him from 36 year old with a 5-6 record that UFC didn't want to a fan favourite title contender.At the end of the day the fight it went how the UFC wanted with the 26 year old wrestler beating the big name 43 year old former contender who is likely leaving the UFC.

 

Romero looks a weight class higher. Never a good sign.
