Is Wilder the most delusional fighter of this era?

He's staggeringly delusional and stupid to boot. I genuinely think he might be suffering from some form of early onset PD, since I don't recall him being like this a couple of years ago, and it's too great a U turn to be explained away as merely attention seeking.

Maybe that's giving him too much credit though.

If (and it's a big if) Wilder gets to 50-0, it would be a massive achievement, because now he's finally stepping up and fighting Ortiz, assuming he comes through that, he will have to carry on fighting the best heavyweights out there. He can't go back to fighting bums in voluntary defences for the rest of his career. I don't think even his most loyal fans would have that. If Wilder wants to be the best, he's got to beat the best and now it's over to him to back up what he's saying.

Wilder surrounded himself with a group of people (friends who disappear once he gets knocked out) that blow his head full of hot air of how great he is. Over the years, Wilder started to believe the non-sense himself. He actually DOES believe Povetkin was scared of him so he has to "juice" with PEDs, because Wilder is so scary and unbeatable.

That's what his entourage tells him while they pat his shoulder all the time. Wilder is completely disconnected from reality.

I hope he doesn't top himself should Ortiz KO him. I like t make fun of him but I don't want him dead.

Surely he is not that blinkered that he can't see he has been fighting sub standard opposition for the best part of his career.

You would think that he must read forums and see what boxing fans in general think of his career so far.

Yet he still makes these outlandish claims that he is the greatest lol. If he steps up beats Ortiz, Joshua, Parker etc.. Then he will have some claim to be as good as he clearly thinks he is.
