fight ended in a draw, due to Golovkin showing a low ring IQ, coming in and attacking in the same repeating, predictable pattern over and over, making Canelo look like Sweat Pea Whitaker. Then again, Golovkin hasn't looked all that since he stopped fighting cans.
You know that Sulaiman is just as crooked as his father was. He wasn't going to enforce ****, when they would get a much bigger piece of change from a Golovkin vs Canelo rematch.
The fight is happening again because there was a rematch clause as well as $$$$. The consensus was that Golovkin won and that the draw was a bad call - But that has zero impact on the fight happening again. How many times do you need this explained?
Not sure what you are arguing about. I already said I'll concede Golovkin would rather go after Saunder's paper title and pity pat, as opposed to fighting a big strong young lion, a much tougher fight. I thought Golovkin was robbed, until I rewatched the fight. Rewatching it, a draw wasn't out of line. I simply stated that due to the draw, and competitive nature of the fight, that there would have been a rematch regardless of the clause. Maybe I forgot to add neither guy would make as much money fighting anyone else.
Why Charlo doesn't face Jacobs, BJS, or Murata as long as Canelo and Golovkin doing their megafights. Oh wait, these guys ducking each other as hell, because they want the huge payday againts the superstars... If Golovkin wins, he should go after BJS (Abel and Tom said if he is aking unreal money they won't waste their time), or the winner of the middleweight championship who is gonna be probably Eubank. Good money fight in the UK for Golovkin. Everyone was ducking GGG for years, i really hope from now he is going to do his moneyfights, and act like A side as Mayweather or Canelo. Last 3-4 years everyone "lost his pen" before contract signing, now, when maybe he is not in this prime anymore, everyone became brave.
Guys, we can just stop talking about this right now. GGG isn't fighting on Showtime and Charlo wont come on HBO. There are serious network politics at play here. GGG is rematching Canleo and then he's on to Saunders in a bid to become the Unified Middleweight Champion of the World before end of 2018. Rematches against Jacobs and Canelo (trilogy fight) are both worth far more than Charlo ever will be the first order of business in 2019. Charlo isn't even in the disucssion until 2020.
Sanchez and GGG are a joke they are ducking Charlo that’s plan as day. He’s the Mando get the **** over it. GGG and his team had no problem when it was bum city in the mando position now when someone who actually will fight back becomes a mando they don’t want to do mandatories anymore. F’ck GGG and his team. They where bitching about other people doing that then they turn around and do it. They said GGG was staying at 160 forever now conviently GGG is struggling to make weight haha. I hope Canelo robs the **** out of them in May 5
Hey dummy it's Charlo who doesn't want it. He's the one who failed to enforce his mandatory and now fighting Hughie Centego.
Whoa whoa whoa Mustafa. I never said anything about MORE deserving. I simply explained the context for those fights being made. Yes....Wade did nothing but fight even with Soliman. And, he's done NOTHING SINCE. Rubio fought ABC RANKED fighters after the JCCJR fight. Got into an interim fight while GGG awaited Martinez. Rubio won, thereby basically forcing GGG(#1WBC) and Rubio(WBC Interim) to fight or risk losing their title shot. Ouma beat Gilbert in a wba int title fight, reclimbing the ladder. GGG was Sturms mandatory and the interim Champ, and needed to continue fighting ranked fighters to maintain his mandate. Idk where you get the idea that Monroe is a LMW. First I heard of him was his Boxino tournament at MW. Of which he won handily, and bwo beating 2 highly touted prospects, both of which were supposed to knock him out. He followed up with a solid schooling of gatekeeper Vera and was ready to go when the duckers ducked. Rosado is/was a LMW. But his ability to make good fights at both weights, and his fearless style, solid CV, and willingness to fight, helped him get the GGG fight. NTM, he was strong contributor to the success of NBC'S fight night series. If GGG were to take a fight like that rather than Charlo, it's a chicken shiit duck. But nobody think those guys are more deserving. Mof....if Mallow was around when any of these fights went down, he'd have gotten the fight then. And IF GGG hangs at 160 after Alvarez 2 and BJS , I expect Mallow SHOULD BE NEXT. Just of the opinion that GGGs going N for the winner of the WBSS after BHOP record is broke and GGGs got his last MW TITLE
As long as GGG is chasing unification with BJS it isn't a duck. But Charlo is mando, he can't be ignored. It's a good fight to make. If this fight is ordered then it should happen unless GGG can make the BJS fight. However, I'm going to assume that the winner of GGG/Canelo II is going to get a free voluntary before any mandatory obligations are ordered.
The rematch has nothing to do with WBC. Charlo is the Mando, it's his turn to act and he ain't doing ****.
Not sure how someone can look like Sweet Pea Whittaker and lose 8-9 rounds of the fight. Golovkin still beat Canelo fighting his fight and playing to Canelo's strengths as wide as Mayweather did only exploiting his weaknesses. Think about that.
