Charlo just needs to keep busy, fighting whoever is available at 160 and force the fight with GGG or Alvarez. He’s not really in a position to demand a fight only having 1 fight at 160. The more he wins, looks spectacular and is active....the more his stock grows and the financial aspect begins to create the demand. At this point the fights GGG makes will have to make financial sense or be stay busy fights that don’t pose too much of a threat. Right now Charlo is more of a risk than what he brings to the table financially.

First of all, stop listening to clowns like Turd45, and the rest of his ilk. I'm not a Golovkin hater. I am however an equal opportunity critic, you should know that by now. Canelo sure was beat up after 12 rounds to have gotten hit with so many shots from the vaunted power puncher known as GGG.(sarcasm) I mean, Canelo would have had the pumpkin face had Golovkin been landing like you are trying to make it seem. I'm not trying to paint him as a defensive genius. Golovkin made him look like it on fight night. Canelo fighting the best fight of his career is debatable. Golovkin damn sure didn't have his worst night. He was just exposed a bit as being one dimensional and predictable in his attack. You can call it his worst night. Some people called the Jacobs fight his worst night before that. I don't see either as his worst night, it was just that he was finally fighting true world class opposition, instead of journeymen like Rubio, Stevens, Ouma, etc.

We don't disagree that Mayweather was on bull**** to catch a still green Canelo, luring him into a catchweight at that. We don't disagree regarding Canelo vs Trout either. Were we disagree is that you are calling it an off night, instead of giving Canelo credit. Canelo made Golovkin look ordinary, same way that Jacobs did. Golovkin didn't look like a killer in either fight, which puzzles me, because he took the power of both guys, and didn't seem too bothered. Lets all of a sudden make Golovkin old and shopworn as an excuse. How is he shopworn? He's taken absolutely no punishment during his career of feasting on 98% cans, bums, journeymen, and scrubs. It's funny how people pick and choose when they say he didn't cut the ring off, he didn't do this or do that. Why not say, he couldn't do that **** against an A level opponent, instead of saying he didn't? If he was fighting Monroe, Rubio, or Wade, people would be stating how he was cutting the ring off, and doing everything right. Can't do that **** all the time when you step up your opposition level though.

The cards are what they are. A draw. Byrd's card was trash, I'll give you that. Just as trash as your card though. And as I said. I initially thought Golovkin got robbed. After rewatching, I didn't think a draw was out of line. And please, stop calling me a Golovkin hater. I'm critical of many fighters. Doesn't make me a hater though.

 

I never said Canelo beat Trout easy, but he had an easier time than Charlo.

 

Charlo is now HOF, why? Hell, Charlo beat a cripple! Golovkin needs to knock El Pollo out to get a draw, and yes, Bob Bennett wants El Pollo to win the fight, Oscar will own the judges, referee, boxing commission, etc. I hope the fight can be made at MSG, but I think it will be in corrupt Vegas. MSG does not mean the decision would be fair, Oscar is a crook, so he will find a way to cheat! Still, Golovkin needs to knock El Pollo out, that means he needs to do him homework on referees, judges, in other words, no Tony Weeks, no Lawrence Cole, now Byrd and you all know the rest of the damned crooks...........Golovkin would knock Charlo out, but Golovkin does not have a lot of time, he wants to fight El Pollo, then Saunders, after that he will be free for a third fight, Charlo could fight Jacobs next, but I suspect he will fight another cripple..............

 

The rounds I listed, Canelo has the best case for period. If you score fights off real scoring criteria, there’s no question he won those rounds. G’s biggest downfall in that fight was effectiveness. You don’t get credit for effortive aggression lmao

 

I agree. All of it. Hopefully GGG is able to decisively decision or KO Canelo, then beat Saunders and then take on the best young gun. Ideal world, of course.

But most likely, GK Box will be correct and GGG will take on the Super Middle tournament winner.
