Wow, always at 178. That's impressive to control your weigh in that manner...

    It'd be a lot like Khan-Canelo.

Canelo is a very good boxer but Khan is a bit better, and he outboxed the Mexican...while it lasted.

Crawford is also a bit better than Canelo and would take a few rounds...till the thunder struck.

    Canelo by stoppage.

There is no way Canelo can go back to 155 again, even this time he killed himself against Golovkin to make 160. And Crawford doesn't bring any money to the table, he's only one PPV fight generated 55K? :sisi1

The glass didnt shatter. That punch knocks out 95.3% of the WW in the sport right now. Crawford could win the fight because as big as canelo is his feet move like molassas which is why FlIVd dominated him so badly. Yeah i know FlIVd was in the pocket most of that fight but what he did was he got off first and would move away anytime Canelo set his feet. When Canelo simply tried to throw punches without being set they were telegraphed and FlIVd would see them coming and make him whiff. I hate FlIVd but that performance was a thing of beauty.
I think Crawford has the ability to do that but i dont think he would be able to do it for 12 rounds because hes just not built that way. Also FlIVd went from 147 to 154lbs. Crawford has yet to even fight at WW.

I'm a Crawford fan, but the Crawford love on here is getting ridiculous. For Christ sake, we don't even know how he looks at 147 yet... let alone 154.

P4P, he's better than Canelo's limited ass by leaps and bounds, but AT THIS POINT it's only reasonable to say that Canelo would be too big for him.

Cucknelo cannot make that weight anymore without being seriously weakened.

He might not be as slick but Crawford is the complete package, offensively he makes Lara look one dimensional, he's got a lot more in his toolbox to trouble Canelo.

Canelo too big and too powerful for Crawford.

Let's see how Crawford goes at 147 before getting all excited about him at 154, 155.

Agreed but I can't see Crawford getting hit with that shot. His defense and ring iq is just so many levels above Khans. Not sure what you mean when you say Crawfords 'not built that way' in regards to him outboxing Canelo over 12 - his stamina and workrate are first rate, if anything I think the fight would get easier for him down the stretch when Canelo tires. Too much is being made of the size difference here, Crawford and Canelo look closer in size naturally than Canelo and GGG do.

Can we let the guy have a fight or two at 147 first?

Canelo is far too big and strong, Canelo would land at some point and break Crawford in half.

I believe the fight would resemble Canelo Vs Khan, Crawford may well start fast, win early rounds but then get caught with something big and fold.
