Too tough brawlers, on the large size for their division, going at it for 12. Who do you favor?

I think Hamsho would decision Iran. At his best Hamsho had a great chin and i think he'd pressure and outwork him.

Hamsho wins in a entertaining fight with both getting their share of lump's in.Hamsho by split decision.

Hamsho at his best in the early 80's was the gatekeeper of the MW.
Fiercely beating everybody except Hagler. Barkley would be a brutal
tiring contest with many hard punches absorbed by both.
Both will be badly cut. However Hamsho edges Barkley on pts.

    I agree. Hamsho outworks him.

Personally, it could go either way, but Mustafa would probably edge it late down the stretch.

I'd probably go Barkley, in a bloodbath.

what a collision. Ironically I think Hearns beats Hamsho. Somehow Barkley was his Achilles. The style was just not right for Hearns. Although to be honest, had Hearns been more careful in the first fight and kept working the body he stops Barkley in 4 or 5 by TKO on cuts. So he almost had him in the first fight easily..

yes. sorry. I think this is a very hard fight to pick. I would lean toward Hamsho to win a decision... It would be a messy fight.
