Easy win for Fury, good fight for him. Glad to see Sefton active as I thought fora while he was holding the British Belt hostage. Must be getting paid well as other wise would have took Dave Allen option as would have had better change of winning that one.

 

Yeah I think he’s above British level, a fight vs kabayal for the euro would be good.

He can box really well at times he just needs to work on being more aggressive with it and put some more meat behind his punches

I hope he’s learnt from the Parker loss as nobody likes to watch anyone run to a world title

 

Not exactly a fight I would want to watch but good comeback for fury easy win on points I imagine

 

Would’ve preferred sexton vs Joyce...

 

My thoughts on this are the same as with Murray-Rosado.

Yes, it'll probably be absolutely pants to watch. But it's good match making all the same from a career perspective. Sexton will be a decent win for Hughie and in terms of a return opponent it's solid

 

I wished Hughie had done it this way in the first place instead of fighting obscure European opponents, whom although are on a relatively similar level to the likes of Sexton. This way, you boost your profile more and you can have a belt round your waist.

I like Sexton but he’s not going to have any joy in this fight.

 

Agree 100%, I always felt the Parker fight was way too much of a step up compared to the level of competition he fought previously bar Rudenkon Hughie never had the right build up fights imo. I think this is a good comeback fight after the loss and a good opportunity to get a title.

 

This confirms that Cyclone haven't got an exclusive deal with Channel 5 and that so long as this card goes well Mick may have sorted his TV situation out.

Good match up although I doubt it'll be a classic.

 

Agree, unfortunately it’s the same model the likes of Yarde and Dubois seem to be going down

 

I think channel 5 are happy to show boxing as long as the main event involves a title otherwise it’s a hard sell to the casuals

I always thought the prize fighter layout sky had going a few years ago now was perfect for terrestrial telly

 

Hughie simply isn't very good.
