It depends what you mean by 'tough'. if you mean 'physically tougher', then maybe I would agree with you, the fight with Groves might be physically tougher, but yes I would 100% say Saunders is tougher to beat than Groves, who makes many many more mistakes.

Eubank has a style advantage with his pressure style, the one time he lost was vs a pure boxer in BJS, while Groves stands in front of opponents looking to engage. But Groves has that X factor which is his power, I'm sure Groves will chin check him and if Eubank has anything less than a stellar chin he could be in trouble. It's this that makes this fight so intriguing.

Hopefully Groves can maintain his concentration and not let CEJ back him to the ropes so that he can unload on him with his speedy combos.

When has Groves not allowed a fighter to back him up when they wanted too? Groves loves to engage, that's his style, he doesn't box off the back foot, he stands just in range, looking to slip and counter, even when he has distance he gives it up to get in range. No chance he will keep CEJ at a distance, that's not how he fights.

If Groves wins, it's because he either one meets fire with fire and CEJ get's KO'ed or CEJ tastes Groves power and backs off, giving Groves space to work and allowing Groves to fight his kind of fight at a pace that suits him.

Murray looked about dead in one of the later rounds (11?) vs Groves.

Agreed. Groves isn't as dangerous as he once was though. Both have a lot to prove

Honest question for all the CEJ fans out there who regard his chin to be undentable.....can you honestly name me 1 puncher he's been in with?

I think all this about Groves being a faded fighter etc is a bit overplayed. Groves is a slick fighter , not BJS slick but still a good boxer . He may not be quite as quick as Jnr but he'll manage just fine, he has evolved into a maturer fighter...Also there's only 1 year between them, yes Groves has been in more wars but that is IMO to his advantage....we'll see soon enough.

He has more wrinkles to his game no doubt. But he has lost some huge fights as well and i don't think he is as good as he was. Groves from Froch 1 destroys Eubank. I think there are question marks over Groves, as there obviously are over Eubank. How Eubank reacts to the power will be interesting

I'll name you three Spike, Abraham and Yildirim are all good punches.

Tbh though I am one of Jr's biggest fans and I agree his chin has never been 110% tested.

Ffs I have seen all of Jr's fights and multiple times I have only seen him hit with 3 or 4 big shots and that is isn't enough to verify a chin

Jr barely blinked to even the biggest shots though so he doesn't have a bad chin.

Jr does have great defense though, not many fighters go 27 fights and have only been hit by 4 big shots. That is sensational defense tbh

    Groves is a beast
    Groves is huge
    Groves hits like a truck
Groves is fitter than Josh Taylor
    Groves isn't even 30 yet
Groves is much better than Saunders, different levels

    Groves is still getting chinned

When the king of chins Carl Froch says you have a good chin, that's good enough for me.
