I see where you are going but what would you say about their actual fight? Duran had Leonard genuinely reeling whilst Duran wasn't visibly hurt at all.

Leonard never was "hurt" against duran and he took much better the shots from Hearns

I say Duran .. in his prime Leonard was almost impossible to hit flush .. Hearn's never landed on Leonard with a serious right hand bomb in the first fight .. grain him in the second he put him down twice .. bot were very good and both had exceptional heart but Duran got hit more, especially over time and other than Hearns was he ever seriously hurt ?

Duran, and it's not really hard to figure out.

Leonard had a more than solid beard in his prime but he never took flush shots from boiled down light heavyweights like Duran did, even doing so more incredibly into very advanced age.

What even more readily distinguishes the chin of the two is the fact that if anything Leonard showed a bit of vulnerability to a blown up lightweights power in their first fight, where as it took men far larger than himself to ever dent Duran's chin.

So you've never seen the Brawl in Montreal, and yet comment on it incorrectly like you have. Good to know.

It is ridiculous to not consider his career at lightweight as a barometer on Duran's chin.

He was a lightweight, the fact that he stood in with guys much larger and stronger than him is to his credit, not his detriment.

Duran was a natural lightweight who took shots from men that outweigh him and are far stronger. How would Leonard have done against career champion middleweights in their prime? Monzon, Ketchel, SRR, Zale, even Hagler?

I would bet he would have been KOed by many of them.

Duran without question had a better set of whiskers.

I would go a step farther and say Duran won that fight and was robbed by the judges. Leonard had a far shorter Prime and Duran was the more gifted fighter overall.

Yes i have watched this fight and the "no mas" too. Obviously we have a different concept of the words "seriously hurt"

Why take my word for it, why not take it from the horses mouth? SRL said he was in a haze for 3 rounds after the punch in the second round. But I guess you know better than him when he's hurt or not?

So you're saying he's lying, and you know better when he's hurt?
