Canelo’s arsenal in general. When you have a tired opponent on the ropes and all you mostly do is throw a jab without going to the body, you respect far more than what people are willing to admit.

He just wanted to secure his victory, no K.O. was needed he was winning clearly on points. Most of the championship fights last 12 rounds. He won 8-4, end of story.
I really hope in the rematch he will be less agressive and he will defend more, and throwing only jabs (Klitsckho style) so it will be even harder to give the decision to Canelo and the Golovkin haters can be more mad and shout he is overhyped.

It's not so much respect it's that GGG at his age fights in a more cautious style to avoid gassing. He's 35 years old and will be 36 for the rematch. The days of bombing people out with long sustained waves of pressure are over. He's also at this point of his career a very slow guy. He's always been fairly slow, but now he's really slow. If GGG comes in recklessly he will gas because he's old and he won't hit Canelo. He has to fight smart now.

There was a gif I can't find it now when Canelo landed a flush overhand right hayemaker right on GGG's chin. And then you know what happened? Canelo landed it and then Canelo went backwards in a straight line to the ropes. While GGG didn't even buckle and walked Canelo down. GGG still has as good a chin as anybody in any weight class.

Golovkin won that fight by out boxing El Pollo.............the vast majority of fans know that, even Nacho Beristain, Lederman, Paulie had it 9 rounds to 3 Golovkin. Oscar had to cheat to make it a draw. Judge Tyrd stunk the place out!

More like the days of bum tour have been long gone. He’s fighting better competition and it’s exposing his inadequacy as a fighter. He’s very limited. That granite chin you guys think he has would’ve been exposed early if he actually fought people. You don’t age overnight as a fighter when you’ve only seen round 11 three times and the 12th twice in your career. Sorry. Don’t buy it.

5 years with only 3 real guys on his resume and his longevity is already in question. Please. Just stop with the bs. All I ever ask.

Nothing wrong with Paulie's politics at all. Like most Brooklyn Italians, he comes down on the side of USA, law and order and President Donald John Trump. Moreover, he's grateful to be waking up in a country that tells its people they can make it if they actually try, instead of feeding them the entitlement lies of preceding eras. This is what America was supposed to be. Learn to love it.

i like malinaggi as a analyst
he uses his expert eye to highlight strengths and weaknesses better than most and he does not seem to carry any bias for fighters when doing it

calls it as he sees it.
i respect his opinion whether i agree with it or not.

funny that i never pulled for him once in a pro fight now he is retired i think he is very good colour commentator and analyst.
