IMO, Oscar has the overall better names than Floyd but,no, I can’t think of a Floyd opponent that would’ve stood a chance against Hopkins. Hell, Oscar never stood a chance against Bernard nor did any of his opponents - Shane, Tito, Vargas

Nope. Hopkins would have made 22 year old Canelo his *****. He would have destroyed Cotto also.

Well they both fought some very tough men and women between the two. They are neck and neck in my opinion.

Oscar's resume blows Mayweather's out of the water. But Mayweather always won. So their greatness is about equal IMO.

    Whitaker
    Chavez
    Mosley
    Trinidad
    Pacquiao
    Mayweather
    Hopkins
    Quartey
    Gatti
    Hernandez
    Vargas

Most of those guys were in their primes too. It's interesting that Oscar fought prime versions of Gatti and Hernandez. And Mayweather fought past prime versions of those 2 guys. And Oscar put bigger ass kicking's on them than Mayweather did. Despite the fact that they were over the hill when Floyd got them.

H2H the best fighter on either man's resume is Bernard Hopkins. Pound for pound best opponent would be easily go to Oscar too who fought a prime Pacquiao.

Is this even that good of a question?

Prime Mosley, prime Trinidad, practically prime vargas, a very very good Hopkins, a prime Pac.

    Come on
