Hatton also put on crazy weight always remember the pacquaiao weigh in my dad thinking he looked skinny then on fight night saying he liked huge and be too big for this wee guy hahah told him just wait and see this so called wee guy and the rest history .i know Harrison is your fave moog but like said must killed him make weight and huge advantage if same day weigh in him and many others would not have same record they have today can be huge advantage some say cheating some say within the rules personal think it's boxer choice to put him self they he'll to get that weight if not same day weigh in mayb a rehydrate weigh in where can't be above the next weight limit example if u a lightweight at 135 the day of fight can't eat more 140 light welterweight and so on

I agree m8. In Harrison's case I think it had a negative effect on him as he was fighting at same weight from when he was 15. Until later in career he boxed and moved and went away from that the heavier he got on fight night. Think he would have been better at SFW as less drained. In reality as a featherweight he properly went into the ring heavier than the likes of Buchannan and Watt did when they fought and they were Lightweights. Difference is they weighed in day of fight.

After watching that weigh in, is anyone starting to see the size difference isn't so vast.

When I say 5lbs difference thats still more than half a weight division.

A stone is 2 weight divisions

IMO Jr looked like he was dehydrated a fair bit, obviously not as bad as Groves but I still think Jr will be up at 180lbs fight night.

I don't think either looked unhealthy, Groves actually looked in better shape at the weigh in then I have seen him for a long time. I don't know what he had been doing in the kitchen and training but it's working.

Wait till tomorrow night mate, that’s when to judge the size difference.

I suppose when they are @ 168 they will both look the same size because they are, but Jr looked much dryer then he does day to day on his social media.

Jr does cut a lot of weight too imo and isn't a middleweight now, he's a reasonable sized super middleweight.

Groves just happens to be a very big one

People will think Fury just stepped into the ring, and had stopped training again.
Super Groves will be massive! MASSIVE!

    ;)

Look at their torsos when they are nose to nose. The camera doesn't lie. Groves abdomen is much thicker front to back. He taller, thicker bodied, just bigger in every way.

Gonna be a big difference in weight for me. Groves looked unhealthy there....but its common at weigh ins...its also common for groves. They,ve done it enough times to know hes still able to function in a fight well enough.

The two questions that weigh in leaves you with is.....will eubank be able to deal with the size/extra weight.

    And

Will groves be able to go long if it turns into a gruelling fight. Most are able to. George is at that age tho when it does start to get more difficult.

I think both could turn into major problems for either of them.

After watching weigh in thought groves didn't look great but he always looks like that and tbh quite liked he was quieter not wasting energy where as cej seemed slight nervous

Standing next to each other look at arms back torso of groves he will be least a stone heavier cej. Has cej been hit a strong smw not sparring in a fight we shall see this iron chin made off

Good luck both hope great fight prediction groves win stoppage in 6 rounds

11 stone 13ib at the weigh in, 13 stone 2ib on fight night. That’s some weight gain that.

Do we know what Junior was on the night, I would guess around 12 stone 2ib...

Don't know what Eubanks was but think you will be about spot on. Groves did put on alot on as i expected him to. People go on about weight Froch used to come into ring at 12 st 5ib so he used to give fighters including Groves a big weight advantage, shows how strong he was.
