Groves looks really drained i have to admit

    If guys are doing massive amounts of dehydration there's a chance that they're not going to be able to ensure the fluid volume around their brain is back when rehydrating.

    If they're not completely rehydrated and haven't got all this fluid around their brain back then any strikes to the head are going to be more devastating because they haven't got that cushioning there.

    Any impact on a dehydrated brain, the chances of sustaining some kind of brain trauma are a lot higher.

    There's also a chance later in life of getting CTE (chronic traumatic encephalopathy) which they're finding more and more in NFL players, which is a deterioration of the brain because of the amount of trauma.

    McClellan was a huge weight cutter, Michael Watson was massive at the weight too. I think its the main reason definately

    Doesn't matter, Groves is going to be huge tomorrow. 2 stones heavier and at least 6 inches taller. He's going to tower over Eubank like he's David Price.

    He don't. GGG got out of shape too much before the Canelo fight that's all. GGG is an average middle, smaller than Jnr :)

    Jr isn't a middleweight now he's a super middleweight.

    When Jr was a middleweight he was very big and so is GGG.

    Ffs GGG has never been outsized and he has had nearly 40 fights how can he be average sized. GGG is a boiled down super middleweight

    Boxing can mess with eyes, your pupils can be dilated after sparring or fighting. To me it seems Groves has permanent big pupils or something.

    Did you not watch the Jacobs fight? Jacobs looked like a LHW in there.

    Yeah, I've never seen him look that drawn before, he didn't look like that at the weigh in against Cox. It's clear in the stat shots during the weigh in that he was carrying a lot of extra body fat, may have came into camp with too much to lose and had to dehydrate more than normal.

    I don't understand why he would do this for a fight of this magnitude, I expected him to look in the best shape ever. He always looks a bit drawn on the scales but never like this.
