Says Golovkin won the first and he will win the second also. The kazakh has the mental advantage.

He’s right. Canelo’s stamina is his biggest problem. He only likes to fight in the last minute of a round, and takes rounds off. Gennady is older, but his stamina is better.

Also Canelo is quicker but Gennady figured out Canelo’s timing in the second half of the fight. People say Canelo will make adjustments, but he was outboxed and was running against Gennady. What adjustments can he make? He does not have the tools to beat Gennady.

All the factors favor Gennady in the next fight.

If Canelo wins, I cant see him taking on all comers like GGG plus he wont fight as often as GGG either. I think Canelo would be worse for boxing in that way

Canelo will fight the best but we'll be seeing a lot of bad PPVs in between.

I’m sorry, when did Triple time Canelo. Even in rounds G won, Canelo landed the better, harder more effective shots. Especially in the championship rounds. I don’t understand what fight a lot of you guys watched. All G did was look busier than Canelo. He didn’t adapt or anything like that lmao

It's far better for boxing if GGG gets his record and his UNDISPUTED titles and moves up.
Alvarez, Andrade, DChenko, Charlo's, BJS etc can scoop up titles and the division will be wide open again.
If Alvarez wins, he'll pick and choose who when and where he fights and leave many great names waiting for the fights

That’s true he didn’t adapt because he didn’t need to. It was the fight he always fights and it was allowing him to dictate all the measurable aspects of the fight...pace, temp and distance. Alvarez didn’t adapt to anything which is why the strong majority had him losing. The rematch Canelo will need to make Pre fight adjustments knowing what he has learned from the first fight. Which is why a lot of people think he can actually win the rematch. It’s something that makes the rematch intriguing

Of course he adapted. He came out behind the jab, let Canelo punch himself out until about the third or fourth round, then started applying the pressure, got Canelo’s timing down, outworked Canelo and won almost every round after the that. Canelo made a stand in the last two rounds, but lost most rounds after the second.

By the way, this is what GGG did against Lemieux, and what Gassiev did against Dorticos. It’s a Sanchez strategy. It’s dangerous because it gives away early rounds, but it’s clear to anyone who pays attention.

Lmao. He threw nothing but the jab and that was the problem. It was a pitty pat, pump jab with no meat on it as well.

It was hardly effective and made Canelo look like a defensive genius. Bro, you’re in for a rude awakening come May 5th. G was a nervous wreck and his own trainer told him to pick it up in round 4 because he knew Triple was down 3. I have to ask you again. What bs were you watching?

Btw, I guess it was also G’s strategy to not go to the body^

He told him to pick it up every round because he knew Canelo’s stamina was poor and he wanted to wear Canelo out. Which he did. Also, if you noticed, Sanchez had Max calling out 30 seconds at the end of each round. Why? Because Canelo only fights the last minute of each round and he wanted to make sure Canelo didn’t steal the round.

As for May 5th, in just about every rematch the greater fighter wins. You will see Golovkin win on May 5th because Canelo has already tried everything he has and was outboxed, out-timed, out-muscled and out-thought. He’s in with a better fighter and there is nothing he can do about it.

Golovkin was tentative, missed most of his attempts at landing power shots, and lost nearly every exchange to the more versatile fighter in Canelo.

He did not out time Canelo. He did not out think him. He did not out muscle him. All he did was use more effort but effectiveness went to Canelo. Most boxing “fans” think just because a guy walks forward and throws punches even though he’s not effectively landing, he’s winning a fight. The name of the game is effectiveness if you’re going to be the aggressor. You’re not rewarded ring generalship just because you’re busier lmao

The **** you describe did not occur. Once again, I ask what fight did you watch. I watched an overrated clown give his worst Margarito impersonation thinking he was fighting “Mexican” Style.

Anyone who is willing to be honest knows G was scared to commit on his punches and his power had no effect on Canelo. The 10,11,12 is when Canelo dug deep and showed championship mettle. In those rounds also be he landed more significant punches than G did all fight and this is only fighting the half of those rounds.

Canelo’s defense was superb. Not only did he cancel G’s mythical power but he even took away G’s body punching because he either countered your boy or was to elusive for G’s overrated ass to land. G was a mechanical broken record “following” Canelo are nd the ring and just throwing pump jabs because it was the only punch that had a chance of landing.

As I said earlier we all know Canelo pretty much won every exchange. May 5th, Canelo wrecks this dude and then you’ll change your avy. Guarantee.
