Logistics? He began his pro career late but at 25 years old still doesn’t completely prepare amateurs to the pros. They have to completely revamp their training to accommodate smaller gloves, headgear, going 12 rounds etc. not to mention the style for success as amateurs doesn’t always translate to success as a pro. That’s the real reason boxers transition to the pros taking on lower level competition and gradually increase the level of competition as well as going from 4 round, 8 round, 10 round and 12 round fights. What Loma did was jump straight into the fighting top level competition which is unheard of and was a major risk. You drive a hard bargain kid. Instead of appreciating the ambitious trajectory Loma has taken you are looking for any way to minimize it. There are a lot of fighters with extensive amateur careers that started their pro careers and not take the kind of fights Loma has been actively seeking. I don’t get it? Lol. Some of the thought process you guys use is amazing. Hard to understand to be honest

BS. He's a two time GOLD medalists. When he finally went Pro, there is no teething. He is fast tracked to champion level. WTF? And you tossers want to compare his stats to for example Fluid or Pac who turned Pro in their teens?

He is gaining a third title in his third weight class and you are calling for fights with guys in divisions he has left and tried to fight on multiple occasions one of whom he defeated easy in his third pro fight.

Oscar is not primary promoter he has nothing to do with picking the dates which incidentally are directly connected to network and venue availability twp more things Oscar has nothing to do with.

Lol. Not everyone is as talented or skilled enough to win a gold medals, let alone 2. But there are a lot of amateur boxers who turned pro with 250-300+ Amateur bouts under their belts. Those boxers didn’t take the kind of fights Loma has straight out of the gate. Look at Rigo’s first 11 fights or Donald Curry’s first 11 bouts. Both Rigo and Donald had over 400 amateur bouts each and they certainly were “teething” and cutting their gums as they transitioned to the pro ranks. I’m not comparing Floyd or PAC to Loma kid. Lol.

There’s no comparison in terms of greatness as professionals. They both accomplished more than more than 99% of boxers all time. They are in the top 1% and Loma, Crawford or Spence will have a long road ahead of them to match or surpass those legends.

But if you want to compare apples to apples, then compare their first 11 pro fights to Loma. Floyd was 20 when he turned pro and Manny was 15 so I definitely get why PAC in particular had taken the conventional route most boxers take when turning pro. But, even boxers who are in their 20s with extensive amateur backgrounds don’t do what Loma did from jump.

Who cares about a paper title. If he isn't taking the title from, Garcia, Linares or Easter it is meaningless. Beltran isn't that good.

How is Beltran's eye going to heal in time for the May 12th date? Loma lost out on Linares because cocaine Oscar is **** blocking that fight and now Beltran takes soft tissue damage tonight. Loma is now stuck with no title fight for his 135 debut but I suppose the cucks will blame TR and his team and of course him.

And that guy, Gary Russell Jr, actually believes he beat Loma! As far as crazy comments go, that's right up there with some of the far-out statements Deontay makes.

Russell has been the one banging the drum for the Loma rematch at 130. If he really was that intent on stepping up from 126 to 130 to chase that rematch, why is he hanging around at Featherweight and defending his WBC title against the likes of Patrick Hyland?

I watched the fight tonight, there is no way Beltran could be ready to fight by May, too many cuts. It was a brutal fight, damned good fight, he is a warrior, glad he finally won a title...............after all those years of getting cheated..............

I have been trying to be a more respectful poster and not rant as much but you really touched a nerve by bringing up that disingenuous little rat Gary Russell.
I also remember their fight where Loma outlanded him in every round except one and hurt him bad late in the 12th yet those cuck judges gave Russell 4 rounds and Lisa Giampa somehow scored it a draw.

Then Russell claims he would beat Loma 99 out of 100 times so Team loma offers a rematch and crickets from Russell. So loma moves up becuase he cannot get any unifications at FW then has to do the same because history repeats itself at SFW and now that he will be fighting at LW you have idiots claiming he should fight Runtssell and Bercheat despite them refusing numerous offers from Loma already.

It's maddening how ****ing thick people can be.

Berchelt has been calling Loma out for a year. Loma should fight the best available opposition, especially if he wants to be considered the champ.
