    Which were the 10 worst champions and which were the 5 best fighters without getting the title..

    it's funny that almost all non-champions will beat the champions

    Here are my picks :

    Worst champions :

    1- Charle Martin
    2- Michael Bentt
    3- Bruce Seldon
    4-Shannon Briggs
    5-Frans Botha
    6-Bermane Stiverne
    7-Leon Spinks
    8-Sergei Liakhovich
    9-Fransesco Damiani
    10-Oleg Maskaev

    Top 5 non champions

    1-Ibe Ibeabuchi
    2-David Tua
    3-Alexander Povetkin
    4-Razor Ruddock
    5-Fres Oquendo

    Other possibilites: Jerry Quarry, Earnie Shavers,Carl Williams,Larry Donald,etc

    just in case I do not use boxrec so I may be forgetting some name

    Yeah maybe hes not a top 5, but hes underrated IMO and he was robbed several times

    The contenders is an interesting conundrum. I couldn't stop at 5. I automatically went to:

    -Quarry
    -Oscar Bonavena
    -Ron Lyle
    -Earnie Shavers
    -Jimmy Young
    -Gerry Cooney
    -Carl 'The Truth'
    -Razor
    -Tua
    -Ike

    This is chronological order, not a ranking.

    worst five so far.

    1. martin
    2. sanders (retired one)
    3. bent
    4. stiverne
    5. spinks

    there were several unrecognised champs as bad as these, some of the WBO ones pre-recognition like damiani and Hide, but since they werent official champs at the time then I am not sure I can put them in.
