Good fight, I thought Eubank did enough to make the fight close on the cards but Groves clearly won the fight anyway you look at it.

Eubank lost the fight but now Groves is damaged worse than the Froch fight. Eubank-Groves II in January 2019. Of course Jr. will win the rematch

 

If i held another belt i'd always drop the IBO. They make WBC mandatories look legit.

 

I've never liked both fighters. Groves for his dirty style and Eubank because simply if it wasn't his name, he would be no one. I saw a comment on thia thread that his legs are sticked with glue for the ring and that is god damn right. Before the first round I decided to support Eubank because I had him winning in the Kirks league But as @CST80 said , this was one of those fights where you know who is about to win since round one. I was never on the hypetrain for Eubank and I was really laughing about him defeating GGG or Canelo.

True but the way CEJ looked against Saunders, it wasn't even like he just got outboxed by a better guy (and I think Saunders is overrated anyway), I'd understand that, but he looked like he had absolutely no boxing training ever, like some random uncoordinated bum of the street getting paid a fiver so that he can get some booze.

I used to be on the bandwagon before that fight but after it, I never mentioned a word about him again Lol.

 

And never will be. People think he still a novice he's 28 a year younger than groves. A engine and a chin will only get you so far.
