Well I thought that was about as one sided a fight generally gets at supposed world level. I struggled to give Eubank more than a round. Messy, predictable, loading up, off balance, no jab, telegraphed punches... Dreadful. Groves won and he win easily without ever getting out of 1st gear. Eubank has gone far considering all he has is a gas tank, a right uppercut and a solid chin, but for him it's over at world level. He's tactically inept, completely deluded and his and his father's arrogance have completely destroyed what could have been a potentially great career. He has all the assets you'd want in a prospect, but he's simply never evolved from that. Shame, he's fallen into that what could have been category. All the gifts but no humility and destroyed by his own narcissism.

It must be worrying for Groves though that he's gassing against wild swings.

I want Jr to go back to 160 and fight GGG or Canelo.

Yes I'm a sick twisted individual.

What the hell are talking about? Groves didn't gas until the 12th, and that's debatably, I think that was just him attempting to weather the predictable, " Oh ****, I'm down 11 rounds I need a KO", onslaught.

Lots of people have been saying it. Like I said, his self-confidence and the hype had me believing I was being too harsh but it's plain to see if you block all that out that he's just not very good at all. He's very poor technically, doesn't punch very hard, swings wildly and falls over himself if you don't stand stock still right in front of him. He has a good chin and engine and he isn't lacking for dedication but other than that he's just not very good.

There was certainly at least one legitimate KD.

Are you being serious, do you think Brahmer will beat Smith? Brahmer is old, I just don't know that he can pull it off. I think if they were the same age, Brahmer would win the fight hands down.

Jr was just as tired, I was looking at his legs and in the last few rounds they were all over the place.

Jr was swinging wildly and falling all over the place because he was shattered.

The fact Jr's best asset is his stamina just goes to show how much Groves didn't actually gas as many suggested he would.

after 6 Groves's output slowed considerably. Its something he's had problems with his whole career. His whole body shape changes completely after 6 rounds because he cannot retain the same levels.

Don't think he really did gas, did he? Even in the last round with a dislocated shoulder he was still ducking and dodging. He was still comfortable in the 11th.

I only gave Jr one round and that was the 12th.

Jnr gassed from 8-9 onwards. groves would have finished strong if his shoulder didn't give in. he didn't show any sign of slowing down from fatigue in 11.

so much for the non-stop engine. I think what a lot of saw from his previous fights was true: he fights in bursts.

Yet he still won the majority of the last 6 rounds with relative ease. He wilted far less in this fight than in others.
