Danny's shots have zero effect, I guess Guerrero was right, Thurman's jabs have more power.

I genuinely believe Matthysse took a bit from him. Just imo.

    Round 7

Ríos is back to chasing García and getting countered. Ríos still pressuring well, leaning his upper body forward, gloves bunched up by his chin, ready to catch or (prime directive) shoot, weaving a bit - and yet García has recovered his groove, landing the jab while turning Ríos and the lead right while ducking or pivoting free of the corner. Ríos laughing as he chases García into the ropes and misses or gets blocked with long fusillades of leather.

    10-9 García

    69-64 García

Porter is licking his chops looking at Danny. It could be ring rust. It’s a fun fight to watch but I honestly thought Danny would be dominating far more than he has.

garcia just the busier fighter behind the jab, plus has snap behind those accurate power shots

Same. I'm not sure I'd have favored him over Porter even before this, honestly.

Agreed.. Danny may need another light touch before he steps up against the best of the welterweight divison.

If Rios can apply pressure just imagine what Porter would do. He'd be in Danny's chest all night throwing them hooks.
