Degale is finished after the shoulder injury - the previous fight proved it.

Hopefully that's the last we see of the Eubanks. Two of the biggest tossers in boxing.

I think only a small delay should be permitted that's what was promised. Callum Smith has spent to long waiting on opponents so the winner if his fight should fight in final no more than 6-8 weeks beyond scheduled date. If Groves isn't going to be fit they should scrap next week's fight and let them have it later as final. They should be able to fight for WBA and be made to fight Groves next if hedoesnt make it. Hopefully he does make it though be great to see him contest the final.

Eubank needs to go back to fighting his usual calibre of opposition. Slow, come forward fighters with no head movement.

It won't take long for him to con everyone into thinking he has made improvements again.

Sadly that is the only realistic option he can take now if he hopes to return to winning ways.

I wouldn't suggest he retire, as he has talent and can still make a good wage from boxing. However It is too late for him to improve to be good enough for the elite stage. Too many fundamentals flaws and bad habits he has picked up over the years which will be a uphill task to weed out.

He is flat footed, leaves his chin hanging in the air after lunging in with wild punches. Relies on reflexes to defend instead keeping his hands up. Terrible balance for a professional, poor punch technique, the list goes on and on. It doesn't help that he is a arrogant know it all who seems to genuinely believe that he is already at his father's level wh.

If he steps in the ring against anyone capable of circling around him whilst giving him angles with decent boxing skills and he will come undone again.

Needs to fight that bum that beat Degale, and keep on defending that belt against more bums.

First thing junior needs is humility or he will be able to beat up some locals, nothing more.

If he wants to undo the damage he & Co have done to his "boxing" he needs to get rid of the whole lot, find a new team and completely subject himself to his new coach (No gay innuendo intended!) .

Junior should stay away from smw. Also Degale would pick him apart.

At mw, after one or two warm up fights with his new team behind him he could go after the ageing 3xG and Canelo, both of whose styles play more into junior's hands.

Will he be able to find humility and learn how to box better at his age though?

Groves. Sort out the shoulder and win the tourney, health permitting. Then, a couple more well promoted fights and retirement as long as you're healthy and on top. Dislocated shoulder might indicate a well worn out shoulder socket. Be careful, pal!

I know never said he had. He has a harder fight than Groves has to make the final and he's fightimg away from home too. Think he will win though.

I expect Caleb getting a call if groves cannot make it and then as compensation winner fights groves as a big unification.

Shoulder injury takes a lot of time to heal just look at the track record of fighters with them they easily take 6-18 months off. Unless it's just a little ding he won't be fighting until later this year, which the super six cannot delay. Maybe after all one of the semi finalists get a pass to final ?
