People who focus on power, even if they aren't one dimensional, still get absolutely schooled by BJS. People who can box get schooled by BJS. BJS on a bad day beats the best charlo, and we haven't even seen the best charlo yet. And GGG...he just demolishes Charlo. Doesn't matter how hard Charlo hits, every middleweight ever fails to put GGG to the canvas. And when it comes to the scorecards, there's only one person winning that and it's Golovkin. He's a great boxer, not many people seem to acknowledge that. He swings wildly and loses against BJS, swings wildly and loses against Jacobs, swings wildly and loses against canelo and gets outfought by GGG.
I think that he is capable of beating any middle weight out there period. He has the boxing IQ and the boxing skills, all he needs now is the opportunity.
Never said he was the best but I did say that he would not be outclassed by any middleweight and I stand on that. I also said that who has he fought crap is just that and here you are with it. Keep that crap to yourself.
Derevenchenko is ready and willing, and they are both signed under Haymon..... Charlo needs to show he's the real deal and step up. Derevenchnko is the easiest fight to make for him.
Jamall's skills speak for themselves. He has the heart, ring IQ, punch repertoire, power and youth to stand with any middleweight. Derevenchenko is just like the Centeno fight, a fight to keep him away from the champions. I would like to see him fight Jacobs but I would rather see him fight for a title. Who has Canelo fought before the GGG fight, or BJS. Not saying those gents can't fight, just saying that Charlo's skills are on par and in my opinion better than both of them.
Who's keeping him away from other champions? Haymon? After all he's the one who scheduled the dumb Centeno fight. You can't compare Centeno to Derev, dude's a top contender in the division, along with Murata and Jacobs. Here's the HARD fact, BOTH Jacobs and Derevenchyanko are signed with Haymon and Charlo is not fighting either of them! I find that very interesting, dont you @Manfred ?
Charlo looks good and Triple G can't rule forever but We need to see Charlo face real competition at 160 before any truly accurate determination can be made. He needs a good fight at 160 (Lemieux) and then right to guys like Jacobs and BJs
As far as I'm concerned Centeno and Derevenchenko are just fighters without titles and I think that Charlo would beat both of them. My point is that he is ready and deserving of a title shot and if he got that shot he would not be outclassed by whichever champion stepped in that ring. Now you got Canelo, BJS and GGG and I contend that Charlo's skillset, heart and power is on par or better than any of them.
With GGG ca$hing out...The picture is becoming clearer & Saunders is consuming most of the O2 In the post-GGG era, Billy Joe Saunders is the Top Boxer at 160, with Canelo-Charlo-Jacobs making up the next tier elite level boxers. I am not ready to discount any of them until they get their chance vs Billy Joe Suanders
You got fooled by him beating absolute Bums What's laughable is you though Charlo could beat any of the top middleweights Korobov exposed that BUM. You and Pimp and Dino are gonna have to reluctantly start supporting Danny Jacobs now!
