Naz is telling the truth. Eubank is no where near as good as he and his father think he is. He was outclassed.
Interesting thing is if you watch the post interview with his dad he knew where he went wrong Said he was at throwing a jab Throwing too far out
I used to love watching Naz, great fighter. But after he lost, he kinda just quit & went away. He sulked after Calvo fight didn't go down well. Eubank was horrible tonight but he saw it out & will try again. Naz was a favourite of mine until he just gave up. I'm not bitter as a fan but when I hear him talk passionately and honestly about a fight, it bothers me that he talks like that when one defeat quelled his passion. Groves/Eubank have continued to love boxing, even in defeat.
Thats the whole point of the thread lol, a bit hypocritical of him to basically describe his style, he was lucky he had get out of trouble power.
naz never looked as bad as jnr in there last night. jnr looked like he didn't belong in the ring and hadn't learned boxing basics. there's no problem being crap but you cause yourself to be judged at a higher standard if you hype yourself to be a killer and a danger to opponents' health.
Naz could have made some simple adjustments and come back after this fight. All he had to do was learn how to fight someone circling to his right. His footwork was otherwise very good, so it’s not something he’d have trouble learning. And then voila, rematch Barrera in Vegas on PPV. This fight showed he had a pretty good chin. It also brilliantly showcases how nasty Barrera could get. Such a great fight.
Brick Top gave him a tip but that ginger kid put him right in it after being told to go down in the 4th.
With hindsight Hamed had nowhere to go, Barrera, Morales and then on the horizon this little known counter punching accountant and some kid from the Philippines were all coming for him and prob going to put a hurting on him if he wanted to go anywhere near a recognised title.
