    But they failed to negotiate the Linares fight, Beltran had a tough battle, is lightly injured (cuts, etc.) so they nad no choice, I believe...

    Yeah, it seems like not enough time for Berchelt to prepare, but it will be very indicative how many times he will mention Loma's name now. I predict that he will go silent once again. :)

    If Berchelt really wants to unify, he should be like: "Hey, wait a minute! I want to fight Lomachenko, but I'm not ready for May 12! Let's fight in June (for example)!"
    Will he be saying things like that? :)

    How about they find different time slots for the events?
    Like PBC just did with Fox and SHO.

    It's always the fvcking promoters fcxking zhit up. As if they are the ones that will get in the ring and fight. Most of the time, not always though, both fighters are willing to fight each other but politics,promoters ego, TV, etc. have to get in the way.

    This fight deserves to be on HBO. The fighter with the network gets to choose the date, that's just standard. Bob is ducking.

    Loma is with ESPN and Jorge with HBO... meaning they both have a network.

    And btw, Loma vs Rigo more than doubled Linares vs Gesta ratings.

    I'll take Gamboa as a back up opponent..

    But IMO they should work out a date for Linares even if it means keeping Loma out for an extra month, pointless fighting a B level WBO top tenner like a Marriaga etc..

    I hope the Berchelt camp doesn't go "radio silent" now that a potential date for a Lomachenko fight has suddenly availed itself.

    Honestly, I would prefer that Loma fights Berchelt, a fight I believe he'll win comfortably, to silence the morons on here who believe the "Mexican style" is somehow the kid's kryptonite .
