    Good doubleheader which is not getting much coverage, both fights should be fun, especially Bivol vs Barrera.

    Thats a good card. Hopefully the winners fight later in the year but its doubtful if a wbss 175 tournament is happening

    This card being on that day enrages me, its on against Wilder-Ortiz, Dirrell-Uzcategui II and Charlo-Centeno, all of which are pick 'em matches that I really want to see. But I love Kovalev so much, I'm almost willing to flip over and watch him fight a guy I'm basically 100% sure he'll KO in 5, as opposed to watching those truly competitive matches on Showtime. What should I do? ****!:BangHead:

    That usually doesn't work out very well for me, as you've seen countless times. Heart says Kovalev, head says Showtime.:mad:

    Barring Wilder/Ortiz this is clearly the better card.... Although seeing Dirrell pummeled into irrelevancy is hard to pass up on. Will most likely end up trying to juggle both cards lol.

    Nah, Ortiz won't win this, he'll make it competitive, but Wilder is too rangy for him.

    Same here, I really really want to see Dirrell get KTFO again, fingers crossed this time it won't be at the bell, then hopefully Uzcategui will beat the **** out of his uncle.

    agree, but just more evidence that it's really hard to get good dates for boxing cards--venues have to align with networks further constrained by other sports (particularly post-season)

    i suspect that's why Braehmer had to step aside--when the obvious solution seemed to be just move the Smith fight back four weeks, which would also give Groves' should more time to heal. Seems to me promoters just find it too much of a pain to do that anymore

    The only way Charlo/Centeno is a pick em is if you're picking the round Centeno gets KO'd.

    All the drug testing, judging, commentating and ref'ing on the Showtime card will be rigged in favor of the A sides while the HBO card will be fair legit shoots where the best man wins.

    Not kidding,was wondering when Kovalev would be in action again.
    Bivol v Barrera has the makings of a good fight,what a great division light heavyweight is.
