That belt was a joke. The way the WBC cheapened it and made it trashy.

Cotto wins it at a CW
Cotto defends it at a CW
Cotto again tries to defend it at a CW
Cotto trashes it rather than paying the sanctioning fee
Canelo wins it at a CW
Canelo defends it at a CW
Canelo dumps it in the garbage rather than having the corrupt WBC dictate to him
WBC picks it up from the garbage dusts it off and gives it to GGG just like that LOL

Vacated and IMMEDIATELY challenged GGG to a non-title fight at 155.

Let's all be thankful it's happening. The first fight was really good, only marred by one judge's scorecard. The right man won. The people that seem to be whining the most are the ones who thought GGG was going to make easy work of Canelo. Making excuses already?

The situation was not handled well from a PR standpoint, which is nobody's fault but the WBC's. What you're saying isn't really all that accurate. Canelo didn't give Triple G the belt, the WBC gave it to Golovkin. The WBC had Golovkin as the interim champion since 2014 when he fought Marco Antonio Rubio. So before Canelo became WBC Champ, Golovkin was already interim champ. So the title was "in dispute" from the moment Canelo challenged for it vs Cotto.

Canelo vacating had nothing to do with Canelo not wanting to fight GGG when GGG was prime, that's your own spin on it. Canelo simply didn't want to be dictated to by the WBC and didn't like the politics involved.

But I think one thing the vacating of the belt shows is just how Canelo did not get any favorable treatment as many are claiming he gets. One thing's for sure, the WBC certainly wasn't doing him any favors, and the WBC was certainly doing Triple G a lot of favors, so for somebody who supposedly gets all this favoritism by the powers that be, that certainly wasn't the case as far as the WBC Title was concerned.

Everyone with half a brain knows that it was a close fight. Even these guys know it was a close fight.

These guys arguing that GGG dominated, was robbed, had a bias ref, judges bought, wrong game plan, perfect game plan, are just haters. Haters are insecure beta males. Like women, they tend to argue with emotions and lose sight of logic.

Your hate is so strong against Canelo that you're willing to insinuate GGG is a sell out and a phony.

Are those you're true feelings about Golovkin?

Given the WBCs treatment of Wilder who never fought any mandatories I’m not surprised Canelo felt hard done by,it was a funny carry on all round although Canelo did pay GGG step aside money did he not?

Your argument is that Canelo ducked GGG in his prime by dumping the WBC title.

How is it considered ducking when you consider the fact that:

    1. Canelo immediately challenged GGG to a non-title fight at 155
    2. Canelo had never fought above 155
    3. Golovkin himself said he would fight and beat anyone between 154-168

Yes Canelo vacated the WBC title
No Canelo didn't duck GGG if he is challenging him

Indeed he did. He also fought him 17 months after.

I don't believe GGG aged anything significant in 17 months. Do you?

It was in everyone's financial interest that they promoted the fight right.

Golovkin and Sanchez wanted the fight at Madison Square Garden in New York, but El Pollo and Oscar wanted it in their venue, in Vegas where Oscar will own the judges, referee, boxing commission, Bob Bennett, etc. This fight will be rigged. Golovkin will need a knockout to get a draw! So, how do we get a fair fight in Vegas?! Call Bob Bennett, the Nevada State Boxing Commissioner and tell him that you want his word of honor that the fight will not be fixed again! You do not want Tony Weeks, Lawrence Cole, or another referee that will not allow Golovkin to land legal body punches like last time, hell, Golovkin should be able to land legal body blows, esp. since SOB Ward was allowed to land blows to the testicles! Over and over and over again! Call 702-486-2575 and tell Bob Bennett that you will not buy the fight on PPV or ringside unless the fight is fair, no more corrupt judges, such as Byrd. Nacho Beristain had Golovkin winning the fight, Paulie had it 9 rounds to 3 Golovkin, Lederman had it 8 rounds to 4 Golovkin, the crowd booed like Hell at the corrupt decision. I have watched the fight several times on my DVR, El Pollo lost the fight..................Oscar will cheat, you can bet on it.................call: 702-486-2575

Call: 702-486-2575 DEMAND A FAIR FIGHT! NO CORRUPTION THIS TIME, ALLOW LEGAL BODY BLOWS, BUT NOT TESTICLE BLOWS AS EL POLLO WILL ATTEMPT TO DO! It's easy, call: 702-486-2575

Back to the scene of the crime!

Oscar will want to make absolutely sure this time: Canelo MD or close UD.
