I don’t think the Smith Braemer fight would have been a big seller anyway to be honest, that’s why they’ve doubled it up.

 

I think the contract specifies that two cards per round have to be on PPV so they can't budge (although the PPV revenue for this fight wouldn't even match advertising revenue from it being on ITV1).

It's a bit of farce given the card is on YouTube for free in France, Spain and North America.

 

Fast Eddie was bemoaning on Ifl that he didn’t make March 3rd ppv and comparing the combined Sheffield and Brooklyn cards to this you can’t blame him. Absolute joke that this is ppv

 

Thing is I actually enjoyed that fight (not that I paid for it - I went to my mates house - he'll buy anything). It took Eubank ages to finish off Quinlan who is absolutely rubbish and showed how limited Eubank really is.

 

I heard him sure he was being sarcastic m8. SKY ppvs are different league compared to the vast majority we see in the UK

Oh ive just asked this question in the RBR. I cant get this even if i wanted to. My virgin Box is too old it doesnt let me do ITV PPV,s. No way is this fight PPV especially with the change of opponent.

I think Liam Smith will be better positioned thst us to answer the question as he did. Plus do you think he would have mentioned some of those who knocked back fight if it's not true. Each fighter in tournament negiotiated own purses so don't know were you get replacements would get 1m Plus, won't be anywhere near or your right they would have took it.

 

Even if it wasn’t PPV, the match up had zero appeal. Never heard of Callum’s opponent and this is meant to be the semi final of a tournament to establish the best Super Middleweight in in the world!!!!
