Smith just outboxed his opponent last night and didn't take any risks. He is the type of fighter who will always just do enough to win a fight and I think Groves will bring the best out of him. He is a very big lad with the skills to cause anyone trouble and I think the final will be a tactical one and should be close.

I think the final is going to be absolutely brilliant for the boxing purists. I don’t think it’s going to be one for the Casuals though.

Haven’t watched his fight from last night yet. But I fancy Groves in that one, he’s more flexible and versatile.

And that’ll be his undoing. Groves can occupy that high guard all night. I think unless he’s caught with a big shot or a cracking body shot. Groves can make it look quite easy.

Just my opinion though. Smith will be punching down too, and Groves can dip and change levels. Smith won’t give as many different looks.

McGuigan will set the game plan, Groves will adjust if needed and Smith IMO will struggle. Smith isn’t a bad fighter but just too one dimensional for Groves/McGuigan team.

I still think Callum has the skills to beat Groves with the correct strategy. I think Holtzken has a better chin than Groves. I've seen him kickbox in person and he can take a shot.

I do think though Callum may be potentially ''outgrowing'' the division and may end up a ''no man's land'' sort of fighter similar to Nathan Cleverly was with his weight.

I think the first half of the fight will be very tactical but I think Callum Smith will then look to work up close as Groves gets more tired to unleash his huge body shots.

I think MANY just don't know how talented Smith's opponent was last night. Dude is the real deal.

    That said, Groves KO's Smith.

Braehmer would have beaten the Smith we saw tonight in a stinker of a fight. Grooves will be a strong favourite for the final but his injury might affect him and stop him throwing at full effort.

No because he would have kept running into his jab. Groves ein fight agsinst Eubank by jabbing him all night and got plaudits rightly so but Smith done that and is terrible and not world class lol.

A different Smith would have turned up if Braemer had.

Callum Smith is the favourite with 2 of the 3 bookies that have it priced up.

I remember when Smith used to be a banger and let his hands go. Tesco Joe has completely coached that natural instinct out of him. If it's jab v jab then Groves wins.
