Could the 6'4 255 pound Abe Simon who could take punishment use his size and strength to maul and bludgeon the 216 lbs Mike Tyson who stopped Biggs? Or does Tyson make Simon curse the day he was born??

We would be more than justified in installing Tyson as favorite here.

How would Simon have any realistic chance?
He would have to have a massive stylistic advantage, not just e naturally massive, to have a decent shot. And he has none.

The only really good fighter I can see Simon beat was Walcott.
This must have been the famously undertrained, undernourished workingman Walcott.
Simon would have to have had far greater movement & boxing chops to have a chance.
Can you even see him likely winning against Tokyo Tyson?

Simon's best win in practice, was Gunnar Barlund, who is under rated by the way!

Simon. Massively underrated, Simon uses his great size and brutal body punching ability to break gutless Tysons body in half and bring out the gutless, coward in himself earlier. Tyson gets stopped late and an overrated, make believe era ends early.

IMO opinion Tyson hit harder and was physically stronger than Louis, Louis was also strictly head hunting and neglected the body.

Tyson would rip to the body and head, especially the body/uppercut combo................Tyson by legal murder aka replay of the Sammy Scaff fight, guaranteed.

    This.
After Tyson failing to work that huge chiseled body, I can see him pulling out of the fight by breaking one of those 18" thighs.

Simon was just a smaller version of Valuev....looked like a monster but had little real power in his punches. Slapped more than punched . And both Wed seriously ugly and hairy. Yuck.

Simon would be far better off fighting Biggs than been brutally flattened by Tyson.

Is there any Baer vs. Simon footage? Not that it would be all that informative for these purposes, just curious.

...but maybe a little informative, also.

Simon is too slow, he don't stand a chance here. At best, he might go the distance because of his size and durability. I say Mike gets him out of there though, unless Simon wrestles his way to a UD loss like Bonecrusher.

Oh, worth noting Simon would have 40 pounds on Tyson, for those "weight divisions exist for a reason" types that only employ that argument against certain fighters.
