Look at his track record Byrd 2x, Chambers, Ibrigamov, just to name a few, good boxers that couldn't win a round off Wlad. Tubbs has no shot.
Don't change your words now. You said "a smaller guy with little power trying to box with Wlad is only going to end up in Wlad winning." So Ali was everything that you said but he would win magically?
Tubbs had tremendous hand speed and good footwork unless vlad is allowed to lean all over Tony or lands a lucky shot I see Tubbs out boxing him and out punching him over the distance.Might get ripped off in Germany though.
Byrd had tremendous hand speed and good footwork was harder to hit too, and he was dominated. Chambers "fast Eddie" as he was known also dominated. Sultan too. These guys couldn't take a round off Wlad. Tubbs is not winning vs an ATG in Wlad. His style is all wrong.
A chubby defensive fighter with no power is the type of opponent Wlad would get criticized for defending against. Shut out UD for Wlad, or late stoppage.
Bryd was a pumped up middle weight. fast Eddie was past it sultan was nothing special .Vlad was too stiff and robotic to cope with Tubbs speed . Unless Tubbs runs out of puff or gets caught with a lucky shot he bounces combinations off vlads Swede all night .not many genuine HWs in history could match Tubbs speed this fight would be a bad match up for vlad
u listed a LHW, a rubbish boxer and a guy who didnt nothing after wlad. i thought you meant to list good hws like tubbs
If Tubbs was in shape, and eyes on the prize, he could do it. Only Page was a better pure boxer from his era, and that is somewhat debatable.
Actually I listed a good boxer, another decent boxer, and a good boxer, who all campaigned at heavyweight. Your pitiful troll attempts are quite flat. Styles make fights and Wlad has a very accomplished record over boxer types with little power. Tubbs would be no different. The evidence supports this but you have your opinion and I have mine. I actually like Tubbs but I'm not blind to the situation through obsessive hate of a certain fighter.
The emphasis shouldn't be on size. Tubbs was a fairly big HW and it's not like Wlad never fell to opponents of a similar size to Tubbs. It's a matter of whether or not Tubbs, a) would have the power to at least partially deter Wlad, b) could set the pace of the bout and, c) survive Wlad's power long enough to drag him into the later rounds. For Tubbs, that's a really steep mountain to climb.
