If Wilder gets to 40-0, that'll put him #3 all-time behind Holmes (48-0) and Rocky (49-0)

Lamar Clark started off his career with 42 straight wins, except 36 of them had ZERO wins. Four of them had ONE win. He beat one guy with TWO wins and one guy with FOUR wins. Those were his 42 straight wins.

So NOT REALLY AT ALL like Lamar Clark.

    Foreman made it to 39-0.

    Regarding Tunney, a draw isn't a win.

Nielsen and Don Steele weren't considered heavyweight champions.

The only people trolling are those comparing the 39-0 38 kos WBC Heavyweight Champion making his SEVENTH title defense with FREAKING LAMAR CLARK.

He's not trolling. He's one of the more vocal resident Wilder fanboys.

And the thread starter with his ridiculous form of logic on greatness. You aren't any better being the flip side the posters you speak of.

Joe Calzaghe went 44-0 fighting zero Hall of Famers. Fought two (in their 40s and was floored against both) in his last two fights.

And Calzaghe was a first-ballot Hall of Famer.

Should Wilder defeat Ortiz to go 40-0, he's well on his way.

No other heavyweight champion today - Joshua, Parker, Fury, etc., are likely to even fight 40 times let alone win them all.

After Wilder stops Ortiz, it would be hilarious if Wilder and Fury signed to fight each other later this year.

You'll be making more excuses for Fury than there is room on this board.

Why would anyone want to see Fury in a big fight this year? He hasn't fought in over 2 years and has treated his body like a dumpster. Knowing the mental gymnastics you reel out on here that's probably an excuse in your book!

40-0 isn't a magical accomplishment or anything. Joe C beat Bernard Hopkins BTW. I'm guessing that's why you stopped at 44-0, since Hops was #45. Clever, but obvious.

For Tunney, 47-0-2 is an undefeated record and is an official winning streak.

I mentioned Nielsen and Steele not being champions, but they still hold a winningstreak edge over Wilder, with Steele holding Alabama and knockout streaks over him to boot.

This should be use as an example in textbooks about how you can falsify the truth with stats.

The stats say Wilder is pretty good.

The reality is he fought really poor opposition and will be ktfo against a pensioner on March 3rd.
