Should Chris Eubank Jr swallow his pride and go and knock on Peter Fury's door?

Absolute class interview with Peter Fury who in my view has reached oracle status in Boxing. He doesn't have a bad word to say about Eubank Jr and see's him for what he is, a troubled young man and has practically left the door open for him to go to him for advice. Could Peter Fury's boxing brain elevate young Eubank to world level or is he a lost cause?

I doubt that would happen cause Tyson and BJS hate the Eubanks.

Chris Eubank Jr is too arrogant and full of pride to even ask for advice from Ronnie Davies, and let Ronnie Davies talk who is actually in his corner. Its beyond a joke!

I doubt he ever gets a trainer or listens to anyone. He never improves beyond what is how. He is 28 now, he is what he is.

He's completely wrong about Lucas Browne.

Browne was in the trenches against Chageav, they even added time onto the round to give Chag the opportunity to finish him off when he had him down.

Very wise words from Peter. He's completely spot on with his assessment on Eubank and the part with Naz.

Was a fantastic interview mate, really enjoyed listening to every word. Whatever he did in his past he oozes class now and every time he talks boxing it makes sense. He breaks things down so well. Also speaks honestly even about those who he has every right to bear a grudge against (Haye).

However listen again, he said he wasn't interested in training just any fighter. Said he wasn't interested in training people for money and was only interested in training people who he "loves".

There are plenty of trainers Young Christopher can link up with. Virgil Hunter would be a good shout.

I think a certain Mr David Haye might have a thing or two to say about that...

Big John and Tyson were full of praise for Eubank after the fight. Could have something to with the massive bet big John had on Groves.

Juniors treatment of Ronnie Davies is a disgusting, Ronnie needs to give him good slap like he used to give to his old man.

Virgil Hunter is a great shout and he's used to dealing with deluded fools.

I've watched a couple of videos on YouTube questioning this whole situation.

Asking if it is actually Jr who really is to blame and not Sr, for example Jr claims he thought he nicked it but Sr was brutally honest with Jr after the fight and told him to his face "the result was correct".

Maybe it is Jr who is the problem, maybe a new trainer wouldn't make the slightest bit of difference.

Adam Booth wasn't around long, why not?

Sr apparently said at the time something about Jr "bucking" and Booth needed to basically "break him" or something like that, so if Booth walked away because Jr was the problem then why would any other trainer get his respect?

A few people involved in boxing have said Jr has little respect for Sr and Ronnie Davies in the gym. He does whatever he likes.

We will see, I do not think a trainer makes a huge difference if Jr doesn't want to listen, learn and do as his he is told.

This could end up a tragedy for Eubank, he needs to get with a trainer, listen and knuckle down. If he holds his hands up and admits he's wrong he would get so much respect. He has one more chance at top level before he is written of as a laughing stock, his legacy will be winning the IBO against Renald Quinlan.

I'd say Chris Sanigar/Tony Borg wouldn't be a bad fit but Sr swore at Sanigar during the Groves fight. Coldwell wouldn't be a bad shout but again it's can they get on long term.

Jr needs a decent trainer who will instill the basics into him- at the moment it seems as if he's trying to run before he can walk.

hughie is uncrowned world champion, deserved the win

browne has never faced a challenge, whyte is too good for him

i dont want or need the money, only work with people i like.... ill do it for 300/400k

last one is fair enough i guess but contradictory. as already mentioned hes wrong about browne, and if they dont accept that hughie did no where near enough to win that fight then they'll struggle. although i think theyre smart enough, good enough and serious enough to come back and challenge in the near future.

naz is a shitbag, you got beat, so just jack it in, sulk and become a self obsessed fat idiot full of regret for the next 20 years rather than work hard and try to come back from it. great advice.
