I think both are tougher opponents than many here give them credit for. These two weren't just big lummoxes who just plodded around the ring, punching with no accuracy.

    Wlad was what...6'5 240 pounds
    Lewis was 6'6 245 pounds

Both were heavy handed punchers, even for their size, although I'd rate Lewis as the harder puncher. Both hit harder than Ali by a considerable amount. They didn't look as flashy as Ali, but both were skilled big men. Two of the most skilled super heavies in the history of the sport thus far. Both easily better than Terrell who'd be convincingly stopped by both in all likelihood.

Ali would have his hands full with both men. Since he'd be a fast, small (relative to Lewis and Wlad) moving target to hit, that'd be of great service to him. But Ali did tend to keep his hands down and jab from the waist. Wlad and Lewis could do like Norton did against a 70's Ali and use their jabs to disrupt Ali's. I doubt both men are a walk in the park for Ali.

Lewis has a chance in this one, Wlad has none.

    Ali beats both.

Good Lord, Ali crucifies Wlad by 5th round KO, Lennox would hang around long enough to get his head swelled up in a 13th round stoppage

Ali has to keep cautious against that power. I don´t think he knocks those two out. Both can handle him in raech, trying to tag an always moving target. If they can align more damage than they would take, they win an UD, otherwise Ali wins. Young Ali maybe could be hurt, according to Rocky Marciano in 66 he´s never been hit with a good punch. This should translate into an real edge in power also.

    "Wlad was what...6'5 240 pounds
    Lewis was 6'6 245 pounds".

Just a factual correction-you reversed their heights.
And Lewis was mid 240's later in his career, though some thought him better in the 220's.

What fight would Lewis be better at 220's? He had very few fights at this weight range..

I believe 6'5 and over should weigh no less than 230.

First of all , Ali was not a small guy..........

Second, fighting Ali means 15 rounds.........I repeat 15 rounds.

WK/Lewis were never enduro monsters, Lewis imposed his will to slow the pace down, WK jab and grabbed his fights to effective stand stills.

WK stands zero chance, it would be a replay of the Fury fight where he never could get set , totally befuddled, bank on it.

On paper, Lewis could win, however, he did not like to get jabbed at, the main reason Mercer gave him such a tough fight, now you say Norton gave Ali all kind of trouble with his jab...........Nortons herky jerky style combined with the jab made it dificult for Ali, Mercer is just a basic straight line bread and butter jabber with the occasional right behind it.

In reality, Lewis slow footspeed in addition to his clumsy footwork plus pacing it for 15 will be his undoing. Lewis never ever came guns blazing against a what he would call a dangerous opponent.........he would be behind the 8ball for most of the fight.

Ali clear decision against Lewis...........clear decision against WK with possible Purrity type stoppage late.

Frankly I think that they both give him hell and I'd go so far as making them slight favourites over him. While Ali had tremendous handspeed and footwork, and that should count in his favour, he's trying to get inside on probably the best two "big men" in history. They're both accurate power punchers good jabbers and technical fighters. I don't see him dancing around for 12 rounds and when he slows, things would look grim.

Wilder doesn't have the ability to keep ppl at bay with solely the jab or have fluid footwork around the jab like Lewis had. Wilder relies on out speeding guys, Lewis had speed and timing with proper weight balance.

Fighters are able to put pressure on Wilder which why he's gone late rounds struggling...do that against 240 Lewis and see how easy he would play with the Szplikas and Molina's who Wilder fought.

Being 6'7 at 220 is not an advantage as a matter of fact I'm going to wait until the weigh in BC I think Ortiz may beat 220 Wilder.

Ali is not used to fighting people of lewis and wlads styles and dimensions.
Lewis on the other hand had tons of practice on his way up against the faded 80s ali-copycat contenders.
So ali would be in a very unfamiliar situation, being forced to be the agressor against a taller bigger man because of the reach and cautiousness of both lewis and wlad. Lewis had seen ali and would probably be much more familiar with the style of his opponent and how tk deal with it.

    Just something to consider.

I think ali beats wlad but i dont know about lewis who had a better gas tank, more of a fighter's temperament and more practice against ali type guys.
