Who wins in a boxing match between Sergey "S.O.W" Kovalev & Prime Tarver @ 175 lbs?

I don’t even mess with Twitter and I doubt Kevin does. Lol There are however a few trolls on here that claim they have actually been blocked by fighters on there.

Anyway what do you care if Kevin and I agree/like each other’s posts? We aren’t the only ones on here that have similar views and agree a lot of the time. So what?

Kovalev

 

Kovalev hasn't legitimately lost a fight yet and made ward look very ordinary in the first fight.

 

Tarver was quality but he was nowhere near active enough to keep someone like Kovalev off him.

Not just that but Kovalev is actually an excellent mid range technician. He spent 6 rounds beating Ward to the punch which speaks volumes of his ability.

His gas tank is perhaps a bit suspect but Tarver never had the best tank himself.

I think I would favorite Kovalev over Tarver
because Tarver was hot and cold. Tarver doesn't
fight the entire round and allows boxers to score
points with activity. That's why he's had "issues"
with boxers/movers, active throwers (Harding, Hopkins, Roy in stints, Chad,
Glen, etc). If Tarver fought consistently and for all 3 minutes I'd
say him. But Kovalev works and would score. I say
"score" with an * because he probably wouldn't land
cleanly on Tarver the entire fight. No one ever really
lands clean against Tarver, just arms and elbows and forearms, his defense is subtly brilliant. No knockout but Kovalev probably by close decision would be
smart money IMO.

 

Good point, I certainly don’t care if you guys have a soft spot for each other. I actually think it’s great that you support one another since you and a handful of other guys in here have a particularly interesting perspective regarding boxing that seamlessly transitions itself into some of your thoughts and comments pertaining to everyday pedestrian life.

I guess everyone has a preference and the root of their thoughts, generalizations can be charged and almost personified by the wrong type of interactions and geared media exposure.

I’m not really sure what message I’m trying deliver here but one thing I’m confident about is when life gives you lemons make lemonade and stop wasting your time and energy complaining about how sour it is.

By the way have you seen black panther yet? I heard it was pretty good lol
